Britney Caught Jason Cheating?

Britney Spears is single again after splitting from boyfriend Jason Trawick who she refused to marry in Sydney after she caught him with two other women.

Hollyscoop.com reports Spears was reportedly “distraught” after she found out Jason had been flirting with two women at Los Angeles’ bar Roger Room and is now refusing to take his calls.

Ella Davis, who was at the bar at the time, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jason left the bar with two bottles of water – and a stunning blonde who looked like Britney.

“He had his arms around her and they looked very much like they were together for the night.”

Jason’s friends say they’re shocked by his behaviour because he’s been very “loyal” to Britney so far.

A source added: “Jason’s a great guy and super loyal. This behaviour is really out of character. But Los Angeles is a small town and word soon got back to Britney he’d had a wild one.

“When she heard he’d been caught cozying up two girls in The Roger Room, it was the last straw. Jason’s really not like this and quickly tried to calm Britney down and rectify the situation. He explained the girls were just friends and there was nothing in it but they still had a massive row.

“Everyone is assuming it’s over – for the time being anyway.”

Britney Works Out In Make Up?

Popstar Britney Spears, who was recently crowned the biggest star of the past decade, just can’t get enough of her diva image as she was reportedly spotted working out with full make-up.

The 28-year-old singer, who is currently dating her manager Jason Trawick wore mascara and lipstick on a recent visit to the gym.

The Toxic hitmaker also sported unbecoming jet-black hair, was on a treadmill and doing crunches at the Mondrian Hotel in Hollywood the other day with her mother, who used dumbbells, New York Post reported.

“Britney worked up such a sweat, she looked like Heath Ledger as the Joker,” a witness said.

Celebrity publicists Adam Weiss and Todd Shapiro told Britney, “You’re an inspiration” to which she scoffed, “Yeah, right!”

Britney Annie Leibovitz Photoshoot?

With both their careers having recently been swirling a self-inflicted and well-deserved drain, Britney Spears and Annie Leibovitz are now working as one.

The 60-year old lens guru, who nearly lost her entire life’s work through horrendous investments, has landed her first paid engagement since avoiding that cliff — Shooting Britney’s new ‘Candie’s for Kohl’s’ clothing campaign.

Famous for her peculiar demands for a session [She snapped Whoopi Goldberg, naked in bath full of milk and stood Sting in the desert, covered with mud so he could barely be seen,] Hollywood Life says Annie had Britney pose in various stages of undress, supported by a soundtrack that included Madonna, Prince and even the late Michael Jackson.

Britney’s manager and dad, Jamie was on hand the whole time during the low-key session, which happened on Thursday at the Paramount lot in L.A. Also there was Brit’s agent and boyfriend, Jason Trawick who was said to be subdued but clearly concerned as Brit got down to work with the fame-molding legend.

This is Annie’s first real gig since her legal issues relented – Last Summer she was facing bankruptcy and a mountain of bills, plus a $24-million lawsuit from her financiers, the Art Capital Group. But Annie reworked the terms of the deal that would have given ACG the rights to all of her works and their lawsuit was dropped in December.

Britney #6 On MTV’s Women Of The Year

6. Britney Spears

In 2008, Britney Spears placed second on our Woman of the Year countdown, mostly because she managed to keep her career together in the face of bad press, very public meltdowns and a pair of court cases. This year, she made the list for entirely different reasons: Not only did she keep her career on track; she took it to triumphant new heights with a sold-out world tour, record-setting singles and a string of videos that dropped jaws and raised temperatures. Spears did it all in 2009, and she did it her way.

2009 Highlights: After months of hype — and a legal hurdle or two — Britney kicked off her big-budget Circus tour in March, with a triumphant show in her (sorta) hometown of New Orleans. A two-hour, four-act spectacle, featuring scores of dancers (and even more costume changes), a massive stage, pyrotechnic displays that would’ve put Metallica to shame, a martial-arts sequence and a cameo by Perez Hilton, Circus was a gleefully over-the-top show, wowing critics worldwide and proving that Spears was back and better than ever.

The Circus tour was Spears’ most triumphant moment of the year (it didn’t hurt that it ran for nearly all of ‘09), and its success served as the launching pad for the rest of her comeback. Sultry singles like “If U Seek Amy” (with its censor-tweaking chorus) and “3″ (the lone new track from The Singles Collection) were smashes. The latter made Billboard Hot 100 history when it debuted at #1 on the chart (the first time a non-”American Idol” contestant had accomplished the feat in more than a decade).

Perhaps Britney’s biggest accomplishment was that, for the first time in her career, she appeared to be the one calling the shots. She slapped restraining orders on her former self-proclaimed manager, paparazzo ex-boyfriend and attorney, made peace (and agreed on a joint custody deal) with ex-husband Kevin Federline and seemed to have found love with boyfriend/manager Jason Trawick. She was also savvy enough to poke fun at both herself and the public’s perception of her, with high-profile cameos on “The Late Show With David Letterman” and Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour.

Among her other newsworthy feats, Britney raged against smokers during her Circus tour stop in Vancouver. She earned seven nominations at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, including a Video of the Year nod for “Womanizer,” and flirted telepathically with VMA host Russell Brand. Her music inspired director Quentin Tarantino during the filming of his “Inglourious Basterds.” And she even launched her very own iPhone app, complete with “sparkler feature.”

Happy Birthday Britney!

Happy Birthday Britney! Lets see if you get any Grammy nominations on your big day!

Michael Jackson Dethrones Britney

Michael Jackson’s death thrust the singer to the top of yahoo.com Internet searches in 2009, putting an end to Britney Spears’ four-year reign and helping bump the President Barack Obama from the top 10 list.

Although the year was dominated by recession, the most clicks still went to what distracts web surfers. NASCAR, actress Megan Fox, reality star Kim Kardashian, and the film “Twilight” replaced four actresses on last year’s top list.

Until June, when Jackson died of a drug overdose, Obama’s inauguration garnered the most web traffic, said Vera Chan, web trend analyst at Yahoo Inc.

“When the news of Michael Jackson’s death came out the traffic was overwhelming, and surpassed that,” she said.

The death had all the elements of intrigue and tragedy. It was sudden, shocking and eerily familiar, according to Chan.

“And then his case was ruled a homicide so it’s an ongoing crime investigation. His death is unresolved,” she added.

Breaking news increasingly drove searches this year. While Obama dropped from third in 2008 to 44th in 2009, the political focus shifted from the election campaign to specific policies. The phrase stimulus plan placed fourth and health care reform was sixth among Obama-related searches.

Among finance-related searches, the words coupons and unemployment topped a list that included cash for clunkers, student loans, foreclosures, and government jobs.

The economy “was definitely a distinction from the previous years, how much people are monitoring the financial situation,” Chan said.

The overall top 10 is “often just a snapshot of our distractions, our guilty pleasures, and breaking news,” she added.

Spears, the singer whose personal meltdown captured headlines for the last few years, dropped to fifth place in the overall list, just behind Fox, the sex symbol star of the film “Jennifer’s Body”, and just ahead of Japanese magna cartoon Naruto.

“Britney was No. 1 for four years in a row, and not all of those years were pleasant years for her,” said Chan. “For her well being, and for our well being, I think we’re happy that we don’t have to check up on her.”

“Twilight” came in second on the list, followed by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), Fox and Spears. Naruto captured sixth place, with the reality show American Idol, Kardashian, NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) and the online role-playing fantasy game Runescape rounding out the top 10.

Yahoo accounted for 18 percent of U.S. online searches in October, compared to 65.4 percent market share for Google Inc, according to analytics firm comScore. Yahoo’s search data is from the company’s dot-com sites only.

Britney Spears Fought For ‘Oops! … I Did It Again’ Red Catsuit

MTV reports Britney Spears had everyone buzzing after releasing several sexy videos from her debut album, including the pop-tart clips for ” … Baby One More Time” and “(You Drive Me) Crazy.” So when Britney released the first video from her second album for “Oops! … I Did It Again,” she decided not to mess with a good thing and once again worked with frequent collaborator Nigel Dick, who this time reinvented Spears as a sexy, otherworldly vixen.

” ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ was the first single from her second album, so there’s definitely the sense that this is Britney’s second album,” Dick told MTV News about the expectations surrounding the video’s release in 2000.

Like the concepts for her earlier videos, Britney also had a very clear idea of what she wanted for the now iconic “Oops!” clip. “This whole idea was my idea,” she told MTV in 2000. “I was like, ‘I want to be on Mars, dancing on Mars.’ ”

But it seems that the pitch she gave Dick at the time was even more specific than just dancing on Mars. ” ‘I want to be in a red jumpsuit. I want to have a really cute spaceman, but there can’t be any rockets,’ ” Dick said, recalling Spears’ request for the now-unforgettable red-latex catsuit. “There was another catsuit, actually, which was fantastic, which I loved, and the night before, I was told that Britney hired this guy that worked with Michael Jackson,” the director said. “And so we’re going to use that catsuit. So that’s the catsuit.”

Spears revealed that there was a bit of a freak accident on the set. “There was a camera, and there was an overhead shot, and they were filming me and the camera fell,” she said. “And it kind of knocked me out, and there was drama … but it was fine.”

Another key part of the song, when Britney starts talking about “Titanic,” posed a bit of a problem for Dick, but it wasn’t one Spears felt she needed to deal with. “There’s a bit about the Titanic in the middle, and I was like, ‘What are we going to do about that?’ ” he recalled, laughing. “And she says, ‘Don’t worry. You’ll sort it out.’ ”

In 2000, Spears talked about why the video needed to be effects-heavy. “It’s really futuristic. It’s going to be the first video that I’ve done to have a lot of special effects,” she said. “I think it’s more mature. It’s edgier. It’s funkier. It’s fun.”

Britney Hits Back At Media

Britney Spears has hit back at critical media reports of her Circus tour, saying she came to Australia for her fans.

The pop star arrived in the country last week amid controversy over her lip-synching stage performance, and soon faced reports that disappointed fans walked out of her opening show in Perth.

Spears has been keeping a low profile since arriving in Melbourne earlier this week, but she responded to the criticism today.

“I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show,” Spears said in a statement.

“Some reporters have said they love it and some don’t. I came to Australia for my fans!”

Spears is due to play the first of three sold-out shows in Melbourne on Wednesday night, and has been indulging in some retail therapy.

“Went shopping on Collins Street yesterday and got a lot of my Christmas presents. Melbourne is beautiful. Can’t wait to see more. -Britney,” she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

Aussie DJ Havana Brown, who is touring with Spears, said she is surprised by the savaging the pop princess has received here.

Brown said there was no negative reaction from fans and the media about lip-synching and lacklustre performances in Europe, where they toured before Australia.

“I think it’s quite well known that she has lip-synched in the past. I don’t think it’s any surprise to anybody,” Brown told AAP.

“There was nothing like that in Europe. I think everyone knew what they were in for, and I think everyone should know here as well.

“I’m not quite sure what the fuss is about.”

Brown was personally chosen by Spears’ father and manager to open the Circus tour in Europe and Australia.

The Melbourne native gets the crowds warmed up for Spears each night and then sits back to enjoy the spectacle.

She said there was an “incredible response” at the first two shows in Perth, and she hoped Aussie fans would make up their own minds about the concert.

“It’s sad. I want people to be positive about her – she’s doing so well, and she’s looking so good, and the show is amazing,” she said.

“I want everyone to make their own opinion, rather than be persuaded by what’s been in the media.”

100 Angry Fans Leave During The Middle of Britney’s Concert

LA Times reports Words of warning to all singers: Australia does not appreciate lip-syncing one bit.

Australian critics and fans have blasted Britney Spears for lip-syncing on her Circus tour.

Now John Mayer, who is promoting his own album in Oz, is getting into the mix.

He tweeted: “If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you.”

Find out the syncing scoop:
About 100 angry fans reportedly stormed out of Britney’s Friday concert in Perth, saying they were disappointed by her performance – and lack of singing — during her show.

Spears also gave Perth fans a generic welcome, never mentioning their city’s name.

“What’s up, Australia?” she asked from the stage. “How you feeling tonight? It’s so good to be here tonight. Your country is beautiful.”

Politicians in three Australian states – Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales – have now called for new laws to force music promoters to disclose whether a concert will be live or lip-synced.

Jason Trawick A Natural Dad?

Britney Spears’ boyfriend Jason Trawick is like a natural dad to her two sons and treats them ‘like his own’, according to reports.

The pop princess was recently spotted with her kids, Sean and Jayden, and beau at the Tides Zihuatanejo resort in Mexico.

“Jason was great with the kids and you can tell Britney really trusts him,” Us magazine quoted an eyewitness as saying.

“He would pick up Jayden if he wanted to be held, immediately calming the boy down,” the eyewitness added.

A Trawick pal also said: “He is absolutely fantastic with the boys. When you see him with them, you wouldn’t think for a moment that he wasn’t their dad.

3 Becomes Britney’s 3rd #1 Song!

Billboard reports Britney Spears becomes the first artist in over three years to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (Oct. 15), as “3″ opens at the pinnacle of the chart. Her new track, a racy paean to the joys of three-way sex from the upcoming hits set “The Singles Collection,” due Nov. 24, shifts 255,000 downloads in its first week of release, also propelling it to No. 1 on Digital Songs. The title also jumps 38-25 on the Pop Songs chart and debuts at No. 49 on Radio Songs/Hot 100 Airplay, which ranks songs based on airplay audience on all radio formats.

“3″ is the first title to debut at No. 1 since Taylor Hicks’ “American Idol” victory song “Do I Make You Proud” did so on the chart dated July 1, 2006. In fact, the last four songs to open at No. 1 were all “American Idol”-related. Prior to Hicks, Carrie Underwood’s “Inside Your Heaven” (July 2, 2005), “I Believe” by Fantasia (July 10, 2004) and Clay Aiken’s “This Is The Night” each debuted at No. 1. The last non-”Idol” song to open at No. 1 was Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” on Nov. 14, 1998. “3″ is Spears’ third Hot 100 No. 1. Her debut single “…Baby One More Time” spent two weeks at No. 1 in 1999 and “Womanizer” spent a sole frame at the top, exactly one year ago this week, on the chart dated Oct. 25, 2008.
