iTunes Theory A Glitch, Publicity Stunt, Or Conspiracy?
So we are all heated about the removal of Womanizer on the #1 music retailer in the US. There are many theories going around the internet. The first is about a “glitch” that Jive is working out with Apple since Jive did not request the removal of the song. Its amazing that this really hasn’t happened to another big artist and that this just considered a glitch. Keep in mind that a lot of stores around the world have the “Womanizer Glitch”.
This moves us on to the next theory the publicity stunt. Britney is known for these kinds of things were they trying to keep the song in the news by adding the headline Womanizer Removed From iTunes with Womanizer Banned On Certain Channels? This leads to the question why would Jive honestly mess with money during the initial excitement over the song? Many people also belive that is creating more hype for already big song… is Jive trying to extend her song sales by taking it off and then putting it back on so people think that its going to be gone again?
Finally comes the all so famous conspiracy theory that someone in Apple hates Britney so much that they “accidently” removed the song from the list to screw up her comeback chances. Why would Apple lose out on making money off of the #1 song off their store? And seriously why would an employee risk there job for hating Britney so much? Is this another Billboard plot change?
These are all interesting theories and even when we find out the real reasons, the real fans will not believe any of the answers. Leave us your comments on what you think!

This isn’t a blog site, so quit writing about unimportant things. Yeah wtf, where did it go? But, conspiracy theories are jank and let people come up with their own crazy hairbrained ideas. Something that would be interesting is what the official reason from itunes is as to why they took the song down.

I’m just wondering why glitches always happen to britney and not to other artists i hope this wont stop her from making the song number one.
plus i dont think that britney or jive would want to lose some profit i mean its a whole day of sales that means it’s a lot of money.

Well it does not matter anymore because our girl just scored her second #1 on the Billboard Hot 100!!!!! She holds the record for biggest jump 96 to 1 just beating last week’s record by TI. 286,000 downloads, the most ever by a female artist since Billboard tracked downloads since 2003, beating Mariah Carey’s record by 200 downloads (Touch My Body).
