Britney has really done it again Circus has sold 210,000 copies of the song making it the top song of the Digital Single charts! This is the only the third number one single Britney has ever had!
Circus single debut #1 in digital track (i don’t know if it’s her 3rd digital #1 track) but it only sits #3 (debut) on the billboard chart (and because it is not #1 yet, thus, it isn’t her 3rd #1 single).
Nope, “…baby one more time” was her only #1 single in u.s. billboard chart and followed by her second #1 hit on billboard october of this year, “womanizer” and it took 10 years, a decade, to obtain that, making her no longer a 1 hit wonder (in my book, and don’t get me wrong I was so proud when this happen because I love britney from the start of her career until now). I am hoping “circus” will work its way up to #1 soon but then again I did hoped for “gimme gimme more” to hit #1 after reaching #3 on the billboard. I guess time will tell…
