All Headlines News reported that Britney Spears has quashed reports she planning to quit the music business.
The "Toxic" singer - who took a break from pop when she fell pregnant with her first child, Sean Preston - has vowed to make a comeback as soon as possible.
The 24-year-old singer - who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Kevin Federline - says she can't wait to get back in the studio and on stage, because performing live makes her and baby Sean Preston happy.
She said: "At one point I was thinking about becoming a home mom, but when my son sees me dance he lights up. I know that's what I'm supposed to be doing. If mom is happy, baby's happy." Meanwhile, Britney has revealed she is to appear in a second series of her reality TV show "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic" - in a bid to end rumors her marriage to Kevin is on the rocks.
The singer said she was tired of the constant negative speculation surrounding the couple's private life and has now decided to put the record straight in another fly-on-the-wall series.
She said: "I know that things are fine, but this show will put paid to those rumors finally." |

PR Inside reported that Britney is following her husband Kevin's lead and learning to rap for her new "edgy" album. The hitmaker has enlisted Destiny's Child producer Jonathan 'JR' Rotem to help cultivate her new sound.
Britney has vowed to balance her growing family with her pop career. Rotem tells MTV, "She's been a mother and she'll still be doing that, but she's very much into her music.
"She literally can't go anywhere without her privacy being invaded. Everybody is trying to get information. So the record we wrote, it addresses the 'who do you trust' kind of thing.
"Not rap rap, but talk rap. It's definitely Britney, but the next level. With songs like Toxic she was very innovative, and we're trying to top it. Push it to the next thing.
"The album wouldn't come out in a while anyhow, since it's at the very beginning. When it comes time to promote the album, she'll be in a different headspace where that's going to be the main thing. But right now, she's happy juggling music and motherhood." |

E! Online reported that Britney Spears hasn't released a new song for a couple of months, but that's not keeping the pop tart from being in heavy rotation--at least among the legal set.
The songwriters behind Spears' 2005 opus "Do Somethin'" have filed suit against a South Korean pop composer, alleging he ripped them off.
Universal Music Publishing Korea, the company that handles overseas rights to Mrs. Federline's musical gems, says that the team behind "Do Somethin'" (the track is credited to frequent Spears collaborators C. Karlsson, P. Winnberg and H. Jonback, along with A. Hunte) believes the tune was "partially plagiarized" by a single called "Get Ya" from the popular South Korean singer Lee Hyo-lee.
Spears released her ditty in November 2004 as one of the few new tracks to appear on her Greatest Hits: My Prerogative album; it was released as a single in February 2005 and peaked at 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. "Get Ya," the first single off Lee's second album, was released just last month.
Spears wasn't directly named as a plaintiff in the suit, although it makes frequent reference to her. |

E! Online reported that Kevin Federline has decided that he doesn't need a record contract. Federline--rapper, dancer, reality star and Mr. Britney Spears--announced Tuesday that his debut album, Playing with Fire, will come out in August.
"My album is sure to set the dance floors across the world on fire!" Federline said in a statement. "The inspiration and meaning behind the title Playing with Fire is self-explanatory."
Dy-no-mite! To get the party started, Federline is planning a promotional club tour to check out fans' reactions to his new tunes, including a new single called "For Real" in which he airs his grievances regarding the media's not so flattering depiction of him. The song is available for listening and contemplation on Federline's personal MySpace site. He has dedicated the track to "all the haters."
Heavy hip-hop hitters such as Usher and Nelly were reportedly on-hand to check out Federline's first promo appearance Saturday at the Vision Club in Atlanta. The rest of the tour dates are still up in the air, but Federline is hoping to touch down in big markets such as New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, rep Marilyn Lopez told MTV News. He won't be performing during the tour, instead handing his records over to deejays for their spinning pleasure.

Pop mama Britney Spears is convinced that her talents have improved since she started singing nursery rhymes to her son.
She is quoted in The Sun as saying: "I'll sing 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' and I make up stuff. I found out after the baby that I can sing!"
She has also said that crooning to her four month-old son has helped her songwiting skills and is currently in Hawai'i preparing her next album.
The star also revealed her paparazzi fears last week, saying that if things don't change she is afraid of dying in the same way a Diana, Princess of Wales, who was killed in 1997 following a high-speed car chase with the snappers in Paris.
She explained her worries to the US magazine People, saying that she fears for her baby son: "I don't really go out with him and it's kind of sad because I can't walk down the street with the stroller. This is how Princess Diana got killed." |

Britney Planning Pop Comeback Because Of Music Boredom |

Contact Music reports BRITNEY SPEARS is planning a pop comeback because she's bored by the music playing on MTV and the radio.
The super-critical pop superstar turned her back on recording and touring almost two years ago to become a wife and mother, but now she's desperate to challenge the likes of KELLY CLARKSON, HILARY DUFF, LINDSAY LOHAN and ASHLEE SIMPSON and reclaim her pop crown.
She tells America's People magazine, "I haven't seen anybody out there who has had a performance where I'm like, 'That's f**king awesome.' It's been boring."
And Spears, who quit her last tour, citing exhaustion and injuries, can't wait to get on the road again.
She adds, "This may sound weird, but I miss travelling. I miss the road... I needed a break. I needed to be hungry again."
And the LUCKY singer is hoping to shock fans when she returns to the limelight later this year, by ditching her pop sound for a new bluesy style.
She explains, "I used to listen to blues music and all that stuff. I would like to try to have more influences of that sound.
"Not that I'm going to be like frickin' TINA TURNER, but you never know." |
