Oops!, She Does it Again

by Lisa Thurrock from BBC Entertainment UK It's not very often that an artist angers their management company, but it is a rarity in the pop industry. Mariah did it by breaking her mulit-million dollar contract with her company, forcing them to shell out millions. Janet has done it by "exposing" herself at the 2004 Superbowl, causing outtrage accross the USA, and therefore preventing any real chance at another No. 1 album. Finally, it may appear Britney Spears has done it too and this time her record company aren't giving up easily. Britney recently popped into KIIS FM's studios for a suprise visit and to play a demotape of a new track called Mona Lisa. In the brief interview before the world premiere of the song Britney said that she's half way through recording her 5th studio album and fans should expect it to hit shelves late this Summer with the title "The Original Doll". However, by doing so, Britney has un-intentionally landing herself into some very serious trouble. Britney's record company, Jive Records, did not give Britney permission to air the exclusive song on radio, with Britney calling it 'a spare-of-the-moment idea'. Jive have therefore put her Original Doll project on hold for the time being. This became evidential after Britney's shaky interview on TRL, when she herself denied any signs of an album in the pipeline, when just days before she claimed to be "halfway through the recording process". She denied that she would be touring, but admitted she would be doing some kind of show next year, but didn't say what. Several rumours circulating within the media suggest that Britney doesn't know what she's going to be doing next. With her 5th studio album shelved for the time being, a tour out of the question and signs of a musical script written by Britney entitled "Hollywood" being read by all the big Theater agencies in America, only time will tell what Britney's next move will be. She's been surrounded by celebrity just about all of her life, but Jamie Lynn Spears would have you believe she's just another teenager blown away by the fact she gets to travel to Los Angeles to make TV shows, and they sometimes let her keep the clothes she wears on set. But then Britney Spears' kid sister, still kidlike and disarmingly polite at 13, makes a pretty good case for her innocence when she recounts her reaction to learning she would be starring in her own TV show. "I thought, 'Oh my gosh, that would be so cool!'" she recalls thinking when veteran TV producer Dan Schneider told her one day over lunch that he wanted to take her out of the ensemble cast of the children's variety show "All That" and put her in the spotlight. "So we started talking about stuff and we came up with all of these — all of these ideas — and he wrote something," says Jamie Lynn, still sounding fascinated by the process. The result, "Zoey 101," debuted Jan. 9, Jamie Lynn stars as Zoey Brooks, a student at Pacific Coast Academy, a campus that until her arrival and that of a handful of other girls had been an exclusive all-boys boarding school. Zoey, not to be intimidated by her swaggering, macho 13-year-old male counterparts, quickly begins to take charge, something Jamie Lynn herself doubts she would be as eager to do in real life. "Zoey's kind of like a leader," she reflects. "I guess I could say I lead in some ways, but Zoey is so good at that. I'm a little more shy than Zoey, I'd say." The two are alike in some ways, adds Jamie Lynn, whose Southern accent is far more noticeable in conversation than Zoey's is in front of the camera. Like Zoey, pink is her favorite color, and she loves wearing the same clothes as her character. "All her clothes, I'm like, 'Can I have 'em?" she says, laughing. The youngest Spears has never been far from show business. By the time she was walking, Britney Spears had made her debut on TV's "The New Mickey Mouse Club." She was just 8 when Britney's first album came out in 1999. As for her shyness, if it's born out of being the youngest of three children — she also has an older brother — Jamie Lynn insists she wouldn't have it any other way. "I was always mom and daddy's little baby," she giggles. "I was spoiled the most." After going through what she calls her "tomboy stage," she became interested in acting and began appearing in local plays. Her mother helped her land a commercial and a small role in her sister's film "Crossroads." Then Nickelodeon came calling, asking her to audition for "All That," the long-running variety show that, like NBC's "Saturday Night Live," changes ensemble casts every few years. Its alumni include Amanda Bynes and Nick Cannon, who went on to star in films and their own TV shows, as well as "Fat Albert" star Kenan Thompson, who's also in the current "SNL" cast. Schneider, the executive producer of "All That," says it took only two seasons for Jamie Lynn to become the show's breakout star. She had won her spot in the cast when, as a gangly 11-year-old, she did an over-the-top impression of an 84-year-old bodyguard who pitches people out of windows and attacks them with leaf blowers. She had based the character on her great-grandmother. "Based on her audition, I would have added her to the cast of 'All That' even if she had not been a Spears," says Schneider, adding the secret to her success both as an actress and a person seems to rest in the fact she doesn't realize she's beautiful, famous and talented. "The net result is you have this real girl talking to you, sort of like the girl next door," he says. "Zoey 101," meanwhile, marks the first time Schneider has gone on location to film a TV show. It takes place at Pepperdine University, and the Malibu campus, with its palm trees and stunning hilltop views of the sun-dappled Pacific Ocean, dominates the show almost as much Jamie Lynn's Zoey does. The Kentwood, La., teenager has taken advantage of that, ferrying some of her school chums to California to visit the set. "They just love the show," she says. "They pick on me, of course. They say (in a teasing voice), `Ah ha, ha, you're so funny,' and like that, because that's what friends do. But they love whenever I go to L.A. to do the show because they get to come up and visit and they get to be extras in the background." Her sister also got involved in putting the show together, writing its theme song, "Follow Me," which Jamie Lynn sings. "Yes sir, she wrote it and I changed a few little words here and there. But she helped me a lot," says Jamie Lynn, who bears a striking resemblance to her 23-year-old sister. She doesn't know yet if Britney will make a guest appearance on the show, but adds it would be "really cool" if she did. As for her own future, Jamie Lynn is hoping "Zoey" does well enough to stay on the air for a few seasons. After that she'd like to look into making movies and attending college. "I want to go to Louisiana State University. If I can," she says shyly. What she'll study is still up in the air. "Oh, goodness, I don't know," she says, momentarily flustered. Australian singer Kylie Minogue empathises with the way Britney Spears is being treated by the media - but she warns critics to write off the Toxic beauty at their peril. It took the Can't Get You Out Of My Head chart-topper years to successfully break away from her bubble gum pop beginnings and she can't imagine Spears sinking into obscurity either. The 36-year-old says, "I wouldn't take her out of the game yet. I feel for her because I've been through exactly what she's going through, where you've been so successful, suddenly you're not as successful, and people think you're doomed to failure." Magazine Says Spears Worst Autograph Signer

Expect to walk away empty-handed if you ask Britney Spears for her autograph; but if you happen upon Johnny Depp he may very likely make your day. Autograph Collector magazine says Spears is the worst when it comes to signing autographs, topping the publication's 13th annual top 10 "Worst Signers" list. The magazine's publisher Steve Cyrkin told People magazine that no one is better than Spears at "showing their fans how little they mean to them." The magazine's 13th annual list was determined by the magazine's "who's cool and who's 'cruel'" survey, according to People. Other stars who made the "Worst Signers" list include star couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eminem and the Olsen twins. Reality show personality and Hollywood socialite Paris Hilton was No. 10 on the "Worst" list, according to People. Depp topped the top 10 "Best Signers" list, followed by the likes of Tom Cruise, Mike Myers, Angelina Jolie and Elijah Wood. Both lists are featured in the magazine's March issue. Mona Lisa is Spears' Alter Ego

Britney Spears has credited herself as Mona Lisa on the credits for her new self-directed, self-choreographed video Do Something because that's the name she adopts when she's barking orders. The pop star admits she feels uncomfortable shouting out instructions and dance moves when making her own videos and so adopts a pseudonym, so her crew mates know it's not really her. She explains, "I think she's kind of like my alter-ego. Whenever I feel like being mean or fussing to get stuff right it's kind of easier to be called Mona Lisa instead of Britney." POP babe Britney Spears has had a Hebrew symbol tattooed on the back of her neck. The sexy singer appears to be getting serious about the Kabbalah faith after being introduced to it by pal Madonna. Her new Hebrew symbol, which represents "the power of healing," is one of two new tattoos Britney has recently got - the other is a personal symbol of her love for new hubby Kevin Federline. She told MTV's TRL show: "I have pink dice on my left wrist. It's something me and my husband we did together. He has blue dice, I have pink dice." Britney, who directed her new music video, also revealed that she adopts the name Mona Lisa when she's shouting orders. The 22-year-old said she felt uncomfortable bossing people around and uses a nickname so her crew mates know it's not really her. She said: "I think she's kind of like my alter-ego. Britney Up For a Golden Raspberry Award

MTV.Com reports They may not have won a Golden Globe, and their names were conspicuously absent from the list of Oscar nominations, but stars like Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears are still vying for the gold: the Golden Raspberry. Duff, Lopez and Spears are among the nominees for the 25th annual Razzies, a ceremony honoring 2004's worst achievements in film. For her roles in "A Cinderella Story" and "Raise Your Voice," Duff was nominated for Worst Actress. She'll go up against Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Shawn and Marlon Wayans — who got the nod for achievements in drag in "White Chicks." Lopez and Spears will duke it out for Worst Supporting Actress for their small roles in "Jersey Girl" and "Fahrenheit 9/11," respectively. Carmen Electra ("Starsky & Hutch"), Condoleezza Rice ("Fahrenheit 9/11") and Sharon Stone ("Catwoman") are also up for the title. Nominees for the awards were announced on Monday by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, a group that annually determines the most abysmal films, actors and songs of the last year. Suitably timed to strike Hollywood hopefuls when they're down, the nominees are unveiled less than 24 hours before the ceremonious announcement of the Oscar nominations (see "Jamie Foxx Gets Two Oscar Nods, 'Aviator' Leads Pack"). With its tail between its legs, "Catwoman" leads this shamed pack of nominees for featuring what the Golden Raspberry Foundation calls "an Oscar winner calamitously miscast as a cartoon character." Timberlake's Grandmother Wants Spears Wedding

Contact Music reported that JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's grandmother would love him to marry his ex-girlfriend BRITNEY SPEARS instead of his actress fiance CAMERON DIAZ. SADIE BOMAR insists Timberlake will never stop loving the TOXIC singer, and although she's pleased he's found love with CHARLIE'S ANGELS beauty Diaz, Bomar is desperate for the 'N SYNC hunk to return to Spears. The 70-year-old was devastated when the pop couple separated in March 2002 and, despite reports Spears cheated on Timberlake, says her family would welcome the blonde beauty back. She explains, "He was heartbroken when they split and he'll always love her. I didn't think Cameron was interested in getting married any time soon, I guess I was wrong. "Britney would certainly be welcome back. We still adore her. It's sad. They were so much in love for so long. It seemed awfully sad to see them break up. I thought for a long time there was a chance they could get back on track. But obviously that wasn't to be."

E! Tab Fab Headline Of The Week: Poops, They Did It Again

E! Online's Tab Fab page which looks at supermarket tabliods choose the headline of the week as "Poops, They Did It Again" Just when you think a catchphrase has gone dry, somebody discovers a new way to squeeze out another meaning. Case in point: this headline in the Star, which tops the story that Britney 'n' Kevin's Malibu mansion has turned into a minefield of doggy droppings, because they let their three dogs do their biz wherever the pooches choose. The mag's source says, "Kevin's closet is filled with dog poop. It's a beautiful house, but visitors are shocked that Britney and Kevin don't clean up after their dogs." And it could get worse. Both Star and Us report that baby-crazy Britney was spotted shopping for maternity clothes this week, conjuring the frightening prospect of Kevney offspring dropping butt bombs on the Berber while blasé mom and pop sing, "S--t me, baby, one more time."

Britney's Interview on TRL Today

TRL got a chance to talk to Britney today about her Do Somethin' video and gave her fans come shocking news. TRL asked Britney about "Mona Lisa" and discovered that Mona Lisa is Britney's alter ego, someone she like to be when she’s "mean Britney." the interviewer also asked if this meant that there would be a new album dropping soon. Britney stated that it actually wasn’t, it was "for a an upcoming show, but not a tour." She stated this would occur sometime "next year." It looks as though The Original Doll may not be an album, but something else. As soon as BritneySpears.org has more info, it will be posted. P.S. Britney Records Message For MTV Asia Tsunami Appeal

BBC News reported that Britney has recorded a special message for MTV's Asia Tsunami Appeal. The message will be shown during the special concert in Bangkok on February 6th. Other performers and appearances will come from Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan & Green Day. The event will broadcast globally on MTV. Is Britney Pregnant?

We have mentioned this earlier today and had posted up pictures but now UTV is also reporting that Britney has been spotted shopping in a baby store and has reportedly told the staff that she is nine weeks pregnant. Scruffy Britney, wearing a skimpy pink top with no bra, was snapped in the trendy Babystyle store in Los Angeles. Britney, 22, has hinted many times that she is desperate to have a baby following her marriage last year to dancer Kevin Federline. Britney Uses Gas Station Bathroom

I know the pictures are a couple of days old, but we got HQ resolution pictures of Britney using some gas station's bathroom. Thanks to Lime-Light for these pictures. The picture were of Britney on January 17 using a restroom at a gas station. After leaving the gas station, Britney and Kevin headed to Babystyle in Santa Monica. Now here we go with some more "baby" rumors. There she used a dressing room to change her clothes from the blue dress with rubber-heeled flip flops to her grey sweatpants and pink tank top. Britney, Officially Biggest Selling Female This Century

Britney Spears is officially the biggest-selling female artist this century - selling more records than any other woman. The pop babe - who even outsold her idol Madonna - has been more successful than any of her female peers in the past five years. Even big-name stars including Kylie, Dido, Beyonce, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston have been overshadowed by Britney's soaring sales. A spokesperson from Jive Records said: "It really is extraordinary. Britney and everyone here are thrilled. To become the biggest selling female artist of the past five years was amazing, but to outsell Madonna over the past half a decade is beyond our wildest dreams. "It just goes to show what a musical force Britney is." Meanwhile, Britney has reportedly asked Madonna to be godmother to her not-yet-conceived firstborn. The sexy singer, who is desperately trying for a baby with husband Kevin Federline, was said to be so thrilled when Madonna agreed she gave her a diamond-encrusted Cartier watch. The two celebrities have been friends since the singer introduced Britney to the mystic Jewish faith the Kabbalah over a year ago. Madonna has since laden the young star with lavish gifts including a 900-year-old Kabbalah book - worth thousand of pounds. Britney has released five albums - 1999's Baby One More Time, 2000's Oops!... New Britney Clip Has Flying Hummer, More Underwear Dancing

Britney Spears wanted control of her career, and she got it. The result? Her latest video, which she co-directed, features the singer playing air guitar in her underwear, singing in a faux girl band, and flying a pink Hummer through the clouds. Spears said she had more of a hand in "Do Somethin' " than any other video she's made, as she "even came up with all the choreography and styled the entire shoot myself using Juicy Couture clothing." "Do Somethin'," which won't be serviced to U.S. video channels, was slated to premiere in the U.K. this Friday, but fans around the world are already watching it thanks to an online leak. In it, Spears wears a pink midriff T-shirt reading "Love Boat" and a pink capelet, making her way to a club called Hole in the Wall with her four blond bandmates via the flying pink Hummer and singing, "Somebody give me my truck/ So I can ride on the clouds/ ... Somebody pass my guitar/ So I can look like a star." En route, they whip their hair in sync to the beat as Spears puts the car on autopilot. Once they arrive, Spears and crew head for the dance floor, where she exhorts the crowd, "Get up out of your seat/ Why don't you do something?" After a few dance moves, including one where her band pushes her around in a chair, Spears and the girls make for the stage and rock out a bit. Interspersed throughout the video are shots of Spears performing in black underwear and a white mini fur coat, as if she were shot in a separate room and is just being flashed on a screen ŕ la "My Prerogative." But when her band starts performing, the in-her-undies Spears' response is to play air guitar. Spears has described the video as "cute," which might explain why she goes back and forth between trying to look sexy and then goofy. She breaks from serious vamp poses to mug dorky grins and roll her eyes at the camera, even when she's in her underwear. Britney Spears is turning to Kylie Minogue to help her return to the music charts. Spears recently heard a song called "You blow hot and cold" and was desperate to record it for her forthcoming album. But she had no idea Minogue - who famously rejected Spears' hit Toxic - had penned the disco track until the Australian beauty offered her the single and wished her chart glory, reports magazine NEW! A source at Spears' record label says, "She is over the moon that, for the first time, she is being allowed to pick the songs for her new album."

Britney Gets A New "Lucky" Dog

Female First reported that BRITNEY SPEARS and husband KEVIN FEDERLINE are expanding their family - they've bought another dog. The TOXIC hitmaker and youngster sister JAMIE LYNN bought puppies LACY LOO and ALLIE BOO in July (04), then Spears went on to buy Chihuahua BIT BIT in November (04). On her official website, Spears enthuses she has purchased another pooch called LUCKY and has created a dog bedroom in her new Malibu, California mansion. Spears explains, "I have a new dog named Lucky and I just bought her a new dresser for her room. Yes, she has a room, which she shares with Bit Bit. "For Christmas, they got a baby chandelier to go in it. It's the cutest thing in the world. I have to go now because my other dog, Lacy, has been sick for a little while and I need to go give her medicine."

Contact Music reported that Britney Spears' little sister is helping to launch a children's initiative to get involved in the tsunami relief effort in Southeast Asia. "Do Somethin" Video Leaked Online

That's right! The Do Somethin' video is now floating out there online. BritneySpears.com still has not confirmed a worldwide release date which brings me to assume that this was a premature release. The video was reportedly shown in Korea and is said to feature hints to some of her upcoming track titles from "The Original Doll." There will be more info to follow soon... P.S. Whats this about Britney causing a revolt in Ukraine? Many sites have reported this but is there any truth to this? I don't believe so. Here is why: 1. When was the last time Britney was on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno? 2. This rumor has been passing through blogs since December 1st - why are fan websites now reporting it? This rumor has been circulating blogs for a while, for example this blog. We aren't going to post useless information just to report things, many sites have and thats why I'm writing this right now. True or not true, people start to believe something is true when websites report it so we only report the truth or it will be classified as a rumor. This isn't a rumor because its flat out a fake story.

Well I know that the tsunami in Thailand is a serious topic however, I read an article from Times Online where The Tourism Authority of Thailand has suggested that the best way to tempt holidaymakers back to the Khao Lak resort, where up to 4,000 people died, is to stage a free concert there by Britney Spears. Now I know this is a rumor and has a 99.9% chance of never happening but you never know.

Britney Spears visits a phrenologist healer in Malibu to have him work on her head with the power in his fingers to align her chakras, unblock her "blocks," and release her inner spirit. The street doctor said, after treating the pop star, that his fingers were frozen stiff from the power she emitted. The Toxic hitmaker and youngster sister Jamie Lynn bought puppies Lacy Loo and Allie Boo in July, then Spears went on to buy Chihuahua Bit Bit in November. On her official website, Spears enthuses she has purchased another pooch called Lucky and has created a dog bedroom in her new Malibu, California mansion. Britney Spears is added to the list of Hollywood Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Paulina Rubio and Sandra Bullock who have donated part of their incomes to help the victims of the Tsunami in Asia. In Hong Kong, entertainers have also come together in aid of the tsunami victims. A concert will be held Friday to raise funds for the tsunami survivors. Currently, the Hong Kong Performing Arts Guild is recording a Chinese version of 'We Are the World' for the show, produced by songwriters Jonathan Lee and Anthony Lun. Former Mickey Mouse Musketeer Britney Spears donated $400,000 to the survivors of this catastrophe and to help regions devastated by the Tsunamis. ''I can feel the helplessness of the people hit by earthquakes. I can feel the warmth they feel and the gratitude they want to express when they are given donations. Britney Spears has reportedly found a new manager -- a former employee of the manager she fired three months ago. According to the New York Daily News, the pop princess has taken on 29-year-old Dan Dymtrow, a former apprentice at Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph's Reigndeer Entertainment. The pair both left ReignDeer last October. A source tells the Daily News' Lowdown column, "Dan was the one who helped Larry with the day-to-day stuff, and he just left him behind his back, moved out to L.A., and is now Brit's manager. "Obviously, there was no loyalty. Dan started with Larry as an intern. Larry groomed him, and Dan ruined him."

We have 18 new pictures of Britney and Kevin working out at a local Santa Monica gym today (January 04). Britney and Kevin seemed happy to be at the eye of the media's attention as they smiled and waved to hounds of photographers snapping away. Britney's wearing a yellow shirt that has the word "blonde" in the center under a pink tracksuit top and black tracksuit pants. In some pictures you can see Britney listening to music on her iPod with a gold skin. Now the question is what music is Britney iPoding. Despite her recent announcement that she would be "taking some time off," Britney Spears is in the early stages of work on a new album, tentatively titled The Original Doll. During a surprise appearance at Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM last Thursday, the singer previewed a rough mix of a new track, "Mona Lisa," recorded while Spears was on her Onyx Hotel tour. The song begins with the lyrics, "Ladies and gentlemen, I've got a story to tell/About Mona Lisa, and how she suddenly fell/ See, everyone knew her, they knew her so well/Now I am taking over to release her from her spell." A cautionary tale, "Mona Lisa" goes on to warn against having a "breakdown": "You will hit the freakin' wall." Spears announced her need for a break from the business last October in a letter on her Web site. "I understand now what they mean when they talk about child stars," she wrote. "Going and going and going is all I've ever known since I was fifteen years old." Britney Spears fans might wonder what happened to the singer's pledge to take some time off — and she's got the answer. In her latest online letter to fans, Spears clarifies her original missives and talks up her latest projects, which include co-directing her next video and plans to write and direct a musical. "I think I should rephrase myself from my previous letters when I was talking about taking a 'break,' " Spears wrote, referring to letters posted October 15 and November 4. "What I meant was I am taking a break from being told what to do. ... It's cool when you look at someone and don't know whether they are at work or play since it's all the same to them. The things I've been doing for work lately have been so much fun, because it's not like work to me anymore. I've been even more 'hands on' in my management and the business side of things, and I feel more in control than ever." Part of that sense of control, she said, comes from fighting her record label to commission a video for "Do Somethin'," one of the new tracks on her recent career retrospective, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. Ultimately she won, but she said she was "a little disappointed" that she had to convince her label "that making this video was the right thing to do at this time" (at this time, the clip is slated to air only in overseas markets). Though she didn't disclose the concept for the "Do Somethin' " video, she described the clip as "cute." She might have also described it as hectic — since it was shot "in a record-breaking five hours." That wasn't the only pressure added, though. Spears played multiple behind-the-scenes roles co-directing, handling styling and arranging dance steps. Her directing partner was Bille Woodruff, whom she described as "young" and "hungry," despite the fact that his credits include the forthcoming film "Beauty Shop" as well as 2003's "Honey" and a long list of music videos including Nelly's "Hot in Herre," Fat Joe featuring Ashanti's "What's Luv?" and R. "Mona Lisa" A Continuation To "Everytime?"

Remember the rumor of the Mona Lisa video where Britney is inside a church and another Britney is inside the coffin. Apparently, the rumor is escalating and new deatils have been leaked. The video, according to the e-mail that is making rounds in e-group chains, starts with a close-up of a painting. The painting is a princess, with a crown, a scepter, and a beautiful gown. The princess in the painting, ironically, though, neither smiles nor frowns, just like the Mona Lisa painting. After which we realize that we are inside a castle, and then suddenly a door opens and that exact same princess in the painting is seen sitting on her bed crying. The weird thing is that the face of the princess is never shown. Suddenly, a man enters the room and that takes the princess by surprise. Then comes the "ladies and gentlemen, i've got a story to tell.." Britney is wearing a black gown. She is inside a forest looking through a muddy pond which then opens up and brings us back into the castle. A struggle happens inside the room. Suddenly we see the princess being chased by the man. The chase ends up inside the same forest where a girl falls into the muddy pond. A chariot stops in front of the girl. An old man stepd down from the chariot and offers his hand to the girl. Then, out of nowhere, a bullet is shot, killing the girl. A hand is shown with the gun. On the last part, we see Britney inside a church with a bunch of nuns. They're walking slowly towards the altar where a coffin lies. Finally, Britney looks through the coffin, and we see the blond princess is actually Britney herself. Could Britney's Comeback Start With A Clean Slate?

Fans all over the world are dying to know what is going to happen next to Britney. Her contract with Jive is rumored to have been completed with the fourth album, "Greatest Hits.” The year 2004 also said a goodbye to her manager who was managing her from the beginning. People are wondering: Will she stay with Jive Records? Who will be her new manager? Many fans agree that Jive Records hasn't been the best to Britney. If that's true or not, I doubt fans will get to find out. There is also anger in the Britney community to why Britney does some things she does like lip sing. Some fans will argue that her recording company makes her, and recently another high profiled Britney fan website, wrote an editorial about this as well. However, Destiny's Child manager, Matthew Knowles, has offered to take over as Britney's new manager. On one condition, though….As long as Britney's honest with him. Now I really don't know what that means nor do I wish to find out. Nonetheless, Beyonce Knowles father has been among the few names thrown around as a possible successor to Larry Rudolph as Britney new manager. To add fuel to the fire, Matthew Knowles has admitted that he is interested in the job of managing Britney - only if Britney is committed to regaining her superstar title. Facts are starting to leak out about what is going on with Britney's career with the shocking release of a new song, "Mona Lisa," on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles. After hype of a much anticipated new album from Britney a Jive Records spokesperson confirmed that Britney is indeed in the "very early" stages of working on an album. A new album that Britney said she is hoping to release as early as this Spring. However, the spokesperson did acknowledge that the album is not on Jive's release schedule. What true die hard fans are wondering about is the contract! Fans were believed that the contract with Britney was completed with the "Greatest Hits" album, however, rumors of the 4 album contract could have been wrong. The song played on KIIS FM was a rough mix and still and may not be the complete song when it is released. Ireland Online reported that Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline is so fed-up with his wife hoarding clothes - he's reportedly banned her from shopping until she clears out her wardrobe. The Toxic superstar's spouse doesn't mind what she does with the unwanted outfits, as long as she makes space for her future purchases. A source says: "He's told her that he doesn't mind if she dumps them, sells them or gives them away, he's just desperate for her to stop hoarding and buying more."
