We have some new pictures for you. First we have some pictures of Britney and Kevin out and about in Arizona yesterday. Britney spent the day driving around in her rented BMW Z4 convertible running errands with Kevin. Now the other set of pictures are of Britney and a friend shopping in Arizona on April 25. Britney is already sporting maternity wear, wearing a flowing white, strapless top with shorts underneath, topping it of with her Uggs and her Kabbalah string. Britney Prepared To Quit Showbiz For Baby

Pop beauty Britney Spears is prepared to quit her pop career to care for the baby she's expecting later this year. The Toxic singer and her husband Kevin Federline refuse to hire a nanny to care for their impending arrival. And Spears has threatened to step away from the limelight if she's not able to take her baby to recording sessions, tours and interviews. She explains, "I wouldn't trust anyone to look after my child, and if that means the end of my career, then so be it.

AOL Poll Lists Britney As Least Cool Mom

In honor of Mother's Day next weekend, America Online polled a group of 75,000 kids aged six to twelve to ask them who would make the coolest celebrity mom. Choices included Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, and of course, Britney Spears. The funny thing is that Spears is the only one on the poll who actually will be a mom in the near future, yet Mrs. Federline, who is reportedly expecting a boy, came in dead last. Pop-rival Jessica Simpson topped the poll with Lopez and Stefani getting more votes than Brit. Perhaps these kids were influenced by Federline's ex, Shar Jackson, who blasted Spears in a magazine interview earlier this month. "A baby is not a dog. You can't just put it away," the former Moesha actress told In Touch Weekly. "I don't know if Britney realizes how hard it will be." Ouch.

Shar Jackson Advices Britney?

Britney Spears has been practicing her mom skills by playing stepmother to the two children her husband, Kevin Federline, has with actress Shar Jackson. And now, with a new baby on the way, they're about to become quite the extended family. In part two of her exclusive interview with MTV News, Jackson describes how they make their unusual relationship work. "My main priority in life is my family, and you know what? In some strange, distant way, she's part of that now," Jackson said. When Britney comes over to Jackson's house — so that Kevin can spend time with 2-year-old Kori and 9-month-old Kaleb — Jackson said they treat each other as friends. "Every time she walks in, I give her a hug," she said. " 'Hey, girl, what's going on?' She comes over, we talk about whatever, the funny stuff that the kids do, or a joke I crack. We hang out for a little bit before they go on their merry way. And I'm cool with that." Jackson hopes Britney will be equally cool with making sure Kori and Kaleb get to have a relationship with their on-the-way stepsibling. "I mean, they're family, so if the other side of the family permits it," she said. Jackson accepted long ago that she lost Federline to Spears while she was pregnant with Kaleb, she said. She likes to joke that she's not paying attention to the media scrutiny or the Kevin/Britney celebrity. "Who's that again? Oh, my kid's dad," she laughed. "His wife? I don't know, some chick he married. That was so last year, you know, I don't keep up. "The whole fame thing, it doesn't make a person better than anybody else," she added. "They just got a little more dough and they're just a really popular kid in school. That's how I look at it." While the fame factor may not faze Jackson, especially since she's been acting since age 3, she is concerned about its effect on her children. They don't realize who Britney is because they're too young. "It's not like, 'Oh my God, Britney's in the house!' " she said. But they are being photographed when they're spotted with the singer, sometimes in photo ops that Britney has set up herself, and that's not something Jackson's terribly keen on. "I just don't really like my kids being photographed, period, you know?" Jackson said. "But that's part of the trade-off. I'd rather it be their choice to say, 'Hey, I want to be in the spotlight,' instead of it just being forced upon them. But it is what it is, and we deal with it." Still, she's not about to start schooling Spears on how to stepparent her children, let alone parent her own. "That's her mom's job," Jackson explained. "My mother told me and taught me everything I know, that she could teach me, without me learning on my own. That's something that her and her mom, they should do that. That's a special thing for a mother and a daughter. When my daughters are old enough, and they're ready to do that, we're going to bond that way. So I'm not going to interfere with that. Reverend Charolette Richards has leapt to the defence of the Toxic star, who has been plagued with rumours regarding her sobriety ever since her whirlwind 55-hour marriage to school pal Jason Alexander last year (03JAN04). Spears - now married to Kevin Federline - had the union annulled, sparking speculation alcohol was to blame for her poor judgement. But Richards insists, "Trust me, she wasn't drunk when she got married. The fact is, she is very rich and didn't have a prenuptial agreement. "She has a dream to be loved and cared for - it just didn't work out first time."

Britney Spears has reduced the asking price for her New York loft on the market to under $5 million. The New York Daily News reported that the three-bedroom penthouse in the Silk Building in lower Manhattan formerly belonged to Rolling Stone Keith Richard and Def Jam Records founder Russell Simmons. The Modlin Group's listing emphasizes the apartment's history -- "Live like a celebrity in one of downtown's hottest full service prewar loft condo buildings." The apartment also has 13-foot ceilings, a professional kitchen and wood-burning fireplaces. The Daily News said that Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, have been spending more time in California. She put the apartment on the market last year at $6 million, which was later reduced to $5.25 million.

Shar Jackson Speaks Out About Britney's Pregnancy

The ex-girlfriend of Britney Spears' husband is speaking out about the singer's pregnancy. In her first interview since Spears and Kevin Federline announced the pregnancy April 12, actress Shar Jackson said she isn't surprised. "Hey, it was bound to happen," Jackson told MTV News on Friday. "It was a goal, and it was conquered, moving on." Jackson, who appeared in the sitcom "Moesha" and 2000 film "Love & Basketball," has two young children with Federline and said "he loves his kids to death." Jackson won't offer any parenting advice, but said she is willing to let her kids have a relationship with Spears' child. "I mean, they're family so, if the other side of the family permits then, yeah," Jackson said. Jackson, who is starting a cosmetics line with a lip gloss called "He Cheated," has accused Federline of being unfaithful. "He cheated, he lied, he left," she said in summarizing the end of their relationship. However, she said she doesn't bear him any ill will. "It's cool," she said. "Obviously, God didn't think that's who should be in my life at this particular moment in time and that's alright."

Madonna has reportedly been offering Britney Spears pregnancy advice. The mother-of-two, who has become close friends with the 23-year-old singer, was only too happy to oblige when Britney wanted an expert to help guide her through her first pregnancy. A source said: "When Britney found out she was expecting one of the first things she did was phone Madonna. "Madonna has been sending books and offering advice about pregnancy to Britney almost daily." Earlier this year, it was claimed Britney, who is married to dancer Kevin Federline, had asked Madonna to be godmother to her firstborn - even though she wasn't pregnant at the time. The sexy singer was said to have been so thrilled when Madonna agreed she gave her a diamond-encrusted Cartier watch. The pair have expressed interest in a $2.5 million apartment currently being built at the Sin City hotel, where model Claudia Schiffer has a suite. According to insiders at the hotel, Britney and Kevin conceived their newly-announced baby in room 248. NOTE: There is some truth to this rumor as we previously reported how shows in Vegas attract fans to Vegas rather than shows having to travel city to city, and that Britney would love that ones she is a mother so she could be at home and still perform.

The pop babe, who announced she was expecting her first child with husband Kevin Federline last week, was rushed to hospital earlier this month after suffering from "implantation bleeding", which can result in a miscarriage. Now Britney's worried mother, Lynne, has reportedly hired a team of nurses after doctors told her there was a 50% chance Britney could lose her baby if it happened again. Daily News Makes Up News About Rep's Quote

The Daily News used a made-up quote in its dubious report yesterday that pregnant Britney Spears is expecting a girl. The story quoted Spears' rep, Leslie Sloane, as saying: "Mother and daughter are doing fine." Problem is, Sloane — not "Sloan" as the News had it — never said that. "The News made that quote up — I never said that," Sloane says. "I don't know the sex of Britney's baby. I am shocked they would blatantly print a lie and attribute the lie to me." Bookmakers are already taking bets on what Britney Spears is going to call her baby. As we told you earlier today, Britney announced through her official website that she is expecting a baby to Kevin Federline. Quick to get in on the act, Bookies are putting William and Harry as joint favourites because of Spears’ supposed obsession with the Royal males. Both are offered at 20/1 by William Hill, reports ananova.com. If the child is a girl, the bookmakers are also offering 20/1 on Zara and Grace. Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told ananova: "Punters have been calling with all kinds of suggestions but there is no doubt that the public think that Britney will buck the celebrity trend of choosing wacky names and they are falling over themselves to back traditional British names." Britney's Rush To Hospital For Baby News

It's official! Britney is pregnant and we at BritneySpears.org and the millions of fans around the world are glad to wish Britney and her family a big congratulations to the soon to be newbie family member. Well after weeks and weeks of tabloid speculation, Britney's official website and spokesperson confirmed the news that the world has been anxious to know. "The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together," Spears writes. The news of the baby came right after tabloid Star Magazine published a cover story entitled "Baby Crisis! Britney Rushed to the Hospital!" According to the report, on Friday, Britney [accompanied by Kevin and a bodyguard] was rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital in West Destin, Florida where she went into the emergancy room. Adding Star Magazine says that Britney was "crying and pale" while her jeans were "stained with blood" but that she DID NOT miscarry. According to an unnamed "source," the magazine reports that Britney was then transferred to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center' maternity ward which is also larger. At the maternity ward Britney was treated for premature separation of the placenta from her uterus. She reportedly was well enough to check out of the hospital on Sunday. Both the hospital nor Britney's people would comment on Britney's condition while at the hopsital but the website did address the hospital visit. "There are reports that I was in the hospital this weekend, Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well," she says. "Thank you for your thoughts and prayers." Britney went on record back in 2003 that she wanted to start working on her own family. In an interview with Newsweek, after her breakup with Justin Timberlake, Britney said she was hoping to be married and have kids within five years. But, after tying the knot with Kevin last September, she ramped up the timetable. "I am going to be focusing on three main areas of my life for the immediate future. Myself, my husband, Kevin, and starting a family," she wrote in a November post on her website. Britney did not announce a due date, but reports have pegged her at four months along. No word on how the pregnancy will affect her recording plans--she had been working on an album, tentatively titled The Original Doll, for release later this year.

The evening's host was Academy award-winning actress Marisa Tomei. Pop beauty Britney Spears is stunned her latest song Do Somethin' has become an instant US hit - because she hasn't even released it yet. The Toxic beauty's ballad entered the Billboard chart at number 100 this week, despite the fact her label Jive Records has not officially released or promoted the song. Instead, the 23-year-old has her fans to thank for the unexpected hit, because they heard the single on last year's Greatest Hits: My Prerogative album and swamped American radio stations with so many requests for it, the song made the chart based on airplay alone.

Britney Spears has been barred from looking after her eight-month-old stepson Kaleb, because she's not "experienced" enough. Spears' husband Kevin Federline welcomed his second child into the world just two months before he walked down the aisle with the Toxic beauty. While Federline's ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson allows the newlyweds to look after her two-year-old daughter Kori, she's refusing to leave them with baby Kaleb until he's much older. She tells America's Star magazine: "As a mom, I won't put my baby in the hands of somebody who can't handle it. "Recording an album is a lot of work and a lot of stress, you're in the studio constantly and you work really really hard, so sometimes you sort of get fed up because you can not get this or that part right, and there are so many different things and they have to be so critically done, so I just decided to take a little break from all of that, and focus more on my personal life" she says. "With Mona Lisa, I just feel so attached to it, and it's basically about me and the way the media seems to be showing and handleing things of my own personal life lately, and it really pisses me off, so it's about you know these different lives that I feel like I need, you know, I can't be Britney Spears the star 24/7. So there's the Britney that my friends and family know about, and there's the Britney that my fans know, and of course the one everyone seems to think that they know but at the end of the day, they are far away from the truth. Before you start worrying that Britney might be on the verge of getting even a little bit more outspoken about her personal experiences, she changes the subject by saying "I feel like I'm more into my own skin now as a woman, and as someone else's wife, so writing about some of the stuff that I've had this year and that I've been going through is something that I wanted to do since I started getting involved into the whole producing process. -- She says. Britney Hires Help To Save Marriage

Britney Spears has reportedly hired a Kabbalah rabbi to help save her marriage. The pop babe, who married second husband Kevin Federline last September, has enlisted the help of a 'spiritual advisor' to give them counselling after the couple spent the last week in separate beds. Britney - who is rumoured to be pregnant - has also asked for mum Lynne's advice as she battles to save her stormy marriage, according to Britain's News of the World newspaper. A source close to the couple - who are currently staying at a Los Angeles hotel - told the newspaper: "On paper, Britney and Kevin are over. They spend most of their days apart. And for a couple who have only been married seven months, it's very odd behaviour for them to be sleeping in separate beds." Last week, it was reported Kevin had spent the evening with a 'VIP escort' at a Las Vegas nightclub, leading to blazing rows between the couple. Britney also sparked speculation her marriage could be heading for the rocks after she was pictured without her wedding ring. However, the 23-year-old singer tried to quash reports the couple were having problems, saying their relationship was stronger than ever. She said at the time: "We're going to be together for ever. We know that, and that's the only thing that matters."

Walt Disney Co. is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland this Summer, and as part of that celebration they are releasing several DVDs. One of these we've already posted separate news about, The Mickey Mouse Club - The Best Of. This covers the original 1955 series. But 1977 saw the revival of the show as The New Mickey Mouse Club, though it didn't last long (despite Mousketeer talent that included The Facts of Life's Lisa Whelchel). In 1989 they tried again though, with The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, or "MMC" for short. It was a a success, natch. It lasted until 1994, and at the end of the show's run it featured three of the brightest upcoming stars that would take the pop world by storm in the years to come: Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera. Now, as part of the Disneyland 50th Anniversary celebration, Buena Vista Home Entertainment is bringing out MMC - The Best Of Britney, Justin, and Christina. Amazon.com has a pre-order listing for this, a single-disc offering that comes out on July 12th. Amazon is selling it for $10.49, based on a $14.99 SRP. We've covered everything they told us about the release, but Buena Vista took it a step further and provided COVER ART as well. The tanks were loaded with green slime and the cannon was ready to be wheeled into place for one of Hollywood's most unusual awards shows, the 18th annual Kids Choice Awards. The show, which features awards in such categories as favorite actor and actress, singer, music group, TV show and movie, was scheduled for live broadcast Saturday on the Nickelodeon children's cable network. "Meet the Fockers" star Ben Stiller was tapped to host the event, where traditionally at least one celebrity is doused each year in gooey green slime. "I think I'm going to be bringing a change of clothes for the evening," Stiller told The Associated Press before the show. "It should be a little bit of an adventure, for sure." The adventure was unfolding in front of an audience of some 10,000 screaming youngsters at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. "It's going to be a lot of guaranteed fun," Stiller said. "I will personally guarantee the fun. I'm not saying I'll have the fun, but I guarantee the kids will." In the awards categories, the front-runner was teen idol Hilary Duff, nominated for favorite movie actress for "A Cinderella Story," favorite TV actress for "Lizzie McGuire" and favorite singer, an award she won last year. The 17-year-old's television series also was nominated. Usher was nominated for favorite song for "Burn" and shared a favorite song nomination with Alicia Keys for "My Boo," the R&B hit that won the pair a Grammy earlier this year. He also was nominated as favorite male singer. A special "Wannabe Award" was being presented to the celebrity that kids most want to be like. Past winners have included Will Smith, Tom Cruise and Adam Sandler. Smith was performing a song at this year's show, as was punk-pop group Simple Plan. There were also plans to fire a person out of a canon into a pool of green slime, an effort to top previous stunts that have included X Games champion Tony Hawk skateboarding into a slime pool. Award winners are chosen by fans who vote up until the day of the show, casting ballots online, by phone and through Nickelodeon's magazine. In an interview with "Access Hollywood," "Desperate Housewives" stars Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria say they support pop star Britney Spears latest attack on the tabloid media. In an interview with "Access Hollywood," Pamela Anderson says she supports pop star Britney Spears' latest attack on the tabloid media. The interview aired last night on "Access Hollywood,". Anderson says she can relate to Spears, who lashed out at the tabloid media in her latest website posting. "I could be suing everybody for misrepresenting or misjudging character," she says. "At the end of the day, hopefully people realize that the tabloids are just awful. They sell magazines based on negative stories about people, I mean no one's going to buy happy stories."
