Britney Fires Nanny

Posted by Rajiv at 12:52 PM | Comments

Miscellaneous  MSNBC reported that Britney has fired her nanny.

The singer made the decision to get rid of little Sean Preston’s keeper in the wake of the child falling from his highchair, according to In Touch Weekly.

Britney has been “hiding out and depressed” since her son’s head-bonking incident and cancelled plans to celebrate her brother Bryan’s birthday, the mag reports. “She wanted to be a mother and thought she could snap her fingers and be the perfect mom,” a “pal” told the mag. “But Britney is learning the hard way that being a good mother is something you always have to work at.”

Britney also reportedly hired a doctor to advise her on how to keep her tot safe. “The doctor advised her not to leave Preston on any high surfaces where he could roll off,” an insider told the ITW, which also reports that Spears was so impressed with the sage advice that she wanted to hire the doctor full time, but he told her that it wasn’t necessary.

But apparently, childcare is putting additional pressure on Spears’ marriage to her aspiring rapper hubby, Kevin Federline. The two got into a spat over whether to go to his hip hop show at the Las Vegas club Pure last week. “Kevin wanted Britney to stay out that night, but she refused,” an insider told the mag. “She wanted to stay at the hotel with the baby because she felt uncomfortable leaving him with the nanny.” So Brit spent the night in her hotel room while Kevin partied.

Britney Pregnant Again?

Posted by Rajiv at 2:58 PM | Comments

Rumors  Perez Hilton is reporting that Britney is infact pregnant again according to a story from US Weekly.

"Britney is 100 percent pregnant again with her second child," boasts Us Weekly in their new issue.

When Spears' doctor confirmed her pregnancy she "cried her eyeballs out," says the pub.

Spears has known the new baby news since early February!, claims Us, who fail to explain away all the boozing she did recently.

Britney waited to tell her family officially about the baby on board until Easter, though.

Spears' rep, Leslie Sloane, did not return calls for comment, according to Us.

Britney A No-Show At Kevin's Listening Party

Posted by Rajiv at 12:38 PM | Comments

Miscellaneous  Post Chronicle reported that Britney never made it to husband Kevin Federline's super-hyped listening party on Friday.

Britney was supposed to be the main attraction at K-Fed's big bash, with scores of celebrities present. Now the rumor mills will be working overtime talking about the singing duo's marriage problems, after the Las Vegas Review Journal reported the couple were spotted arguing in Caesar's Nero restaurant, and that Spears took off for their hotel suite in tears.

The couple and their baby, seven-month-old Sean Preston, arrived in Las Vegas with every intention of partying down at aspiring rapper Federline's listening party at the the superhot Caesar's Palace nightclub, Pure.

Federline, however, did manage to arrive in style, and was introduced at the mic by Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton's mom. He performed two songs from his Playing With Fire album, AMERICA'S MOST HATED and ROCKSTAR, and entertained fans and friends.

But his superstar wife was just a ghost, and tongues at the party wagged incessantly, you can be sure.

Britney "Insider" Reveals Secrets

Posted by Rajiv at 1:52 PM | Comments

Rumors  National Enquirer reported that Britney is facing fresh heartache over baby Sean Preston amid fears that he could suffer long-term brain damage. When seven-month-old Sean toppled out of his high chair and fractured his scalp it wasn't his first fall, an ENQUIRER investigation has uncovered.

Twice before, says a source, the baby has rolled off of the pop princess' bed and crashed to the floor. That's one of the shocking new claims about Britney's bizarre life uncovered by The ENQUIRER — and, tragically, it comes as doctors say Sean could suffer brain seizures or memory loss for years to come.

The insider also claims:

* Britney is terrified that three former bodyguards are poised to tell all and reveal devastating details of her drug past, her bawdy sex life and her stormy marriage
* She sleeps in till 2pm — and she's a sloppy housekeeper who lets her three dogs soil the house
*She exploded in rage after finding a drug dealer with hubby Kevin Federline in their home The ENQUIRER reported exclusively last week that Britney was grilled by child welfare officials about neglect allegations after Sean fell backwards out of his high chair on April 1. Now we've uncovered details of two other mishaps when he rolled off his mother's bed.

"Both times Britney freaked out when she was wakened by the sound of her little boy screaming," said an insider. "She found him lying face down on the floor after falling from the bed.

"It was every mother's nightmare come true. She was so afraid he was hurt. The first time it happened, Sean was just over three months old. Fortunately the floor in Britney and Kevin's bedroom is carpeted and the baby was frightened but uninjured.

"But two weeks later, the same scary thing happened again. Once again Britney woke to find the little guy face down on the floor, crying his heart out. This time she was shaken to the core."

Pick up this week's issue of The ENQUIRER to read the rest of this story!

Britney to Sue High-Chair Maker Over Baby Injury

Posted by Rajiv at 4:52 PM | Comments

Miscellaneous  National Ledger reported that Britney again took a lot of heat over the fact that her little one Sean Preston Federline fell from his high chair and cracked his little skull.

Once the story broke last week and she was forced to rush the baby to the hospital - she was even visited by California authorities to make certain it was indeed an accident.

Reports detailed thatthe Child Potective Services concluded that it was.

And now a report set for publication from 'In Touch Weekly claims Britney may sue the High-Chair maker over the baby's injury.

Jeannette Walls delivers the scoop citing In Touch as the source.

A nanny was taking the seven-month-old tot from his high chair earlier this month when “something snapped,” according to a report in People magazine. The singer reportedly thinks a high chair might be to blame

Baby Sean Preston was taken to the hospital, where he was deemed okay, but now Spears is looking into suing the maker of the chair, according to In Touch Weekly. “The chair’s back broke,” a “family insider” explained to the mag.

“She’s going to see if there was a fault in the chair.”

Interesting strategy, but may be a tough court battle if it is ever filed.

Kevin Loves His "Pimp" Image

Posted by Rajiv at 2:18 PM | Comments

Miscellaneous  Post Chronicle reported Kevin Federline adores his his 'pimp' appearance because it provides him a way to be 'rap-worthy', according to a published report.

K-Fed was wearing a track outfit to his marriage celebration in 2004 that had the words 'Pimp Daddy' on the back, so he explains, "If I'm gonna be a rapper, that image can't really hurt."

However, K-Fed insists that his 'pimp' status and reputation won't continue into his family life with wifey Britney Spears.

"A real pimp is a dude who's making money off b***hes who sling that a** on the street."

"Nowadays, people will say they're a pimp just because they're suave."

"I'm not no pimp. I'm just Kevin. Happy husband. Happy father. I didn't pimp Britney. I found love."

Britney Could Star On New Sitcom

Posted by Rajiv at 12:47 PM | Comments

TV  Hollywood.com reported that Britney has met with Will & Grace star Sean Hayes and a group of producers to discuss joining the cast of a new sitcom.

The 24-year-old attended the meeting to talk about a role in an ensemble sitcom about teachers, tentatively titled Detention.

During the two-hour meeting in late February, the singer read lines from a script and confessed she was "aching to give acting a go," according to Us Weekly magazine.

Spears guest starred alongside Hayes on Will & Grace last month, appearing as a conservative talk show host.
A source close to the actor says, "Having seen the way Britney works, he knows she has potential."

One of the producers' main concerns was that the pop star was pregnant with her second child.

The source adds, "First, she laughed and said, 'Do I look it?' Then she assured them that she wouldn't jeopardize a new project.

"Britney is up for it. Everyone will be meeting again soon."

Baby Sean Fractures Skulls From Fall

Posted by Rajiv at 4:00 PM | Comments

Miscellaneous  Star Magazine reported that On April 7, when Britney Spears and Kevin Federline realized that their baby, Sean Preston, had been sleeping more than usual, panic bells went off. Just six days earlier, the 7-month-old had taken a major fall from his high chair, a tumble that had his parents worried that he might have been critically injured.

They had every right to fret. After rushing Sean to a nearby hospital, they discovered he had a minor skull fracture (sometimes called a "scalp fracture" in babies), and a blood clot. And the doctors weren't the only ones to take notice! The next day, the Department of Children and Family Services began looking into the incident.

The Spears-Federline clan escaped disaster, but not their obligation to explain themselves to the authorities. On April 8, L.A. sheriff's deputies arrived at Britney's Malibu home to investigate a child-abuse claim against Britney and Kevin in relation to the head injury. Such an investigation isn't unusual. According to California law, whenever a baby is brought into the hospital with a serious injury, the Department of Children and Family Services is alerted.

Miscellaneous  Us Weekly reported that at around 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, a Sheriff’s Deputy from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department accompanied investigators from the Department Of Children and Family Services to the Malibu home of Britney Spears.

A source tells Us that the Sheriff’s visit was part of the ongoing investigation into allegations that Spears drove a car while her baby, Sean Preston, sat on her lap. “It was part of the child endangerment investigation,” says the source, who adds that Britney was told ahead of time by her lawyers that the DFCS would be paying a visit. “She knew they were coming. It was all standard.” Source says that Spears’ attorneys do not expect Britney to be prosecuted. “It’s all political. They have to do [the investigation].”

Britney Angers Little People

Miscellaneous  Hardly news but still Inside Entertainment reported that Britney is being berated for hiring dwarf performers to entertain at her hubby's birthday bash in Las Vegas last month.

Spears' celebrations for her honkey-tonk hunny, Kevin Federline, reportedly included a pair of short-statured Sonny Bono and Cher lookalikes who performed the classic duet 'I Got You Babe.' The pop princess also had two little people bring out K-Fed's cake.

A witness claims some drunk and rowdy partygoers in the crowd went as far as to propose a dwarf-tossing contest.

Bodyguards Sue Britney For Overtime

Posted by Rajiv at 10:35 AM | Comments

Miscellaneous  Fashion Monitor Toronto reported that Britney is being sued by three men hired to guard the pop princess.

The trio allege Britney Spears didn't pay their final wages when she sacked them in November 2004.

The bodyguards - Silas Dukes and brothers Lonnie and Randy Jones - claim Britney Spears even refused them meal breaks.

Angry bodyguards have filed a lawsuit against three of Britney Spears's companies, Team Tours, Britney Brands and Britney Touring.

Court papers - which were obtained by entertainment news website TMZ.com - read: "They would take trips with Britney Spears that would require them to be on call 24 hours per day.

But they were never overcompensated for the overtime hours they worked."

Britney Spears' camp has not commented on the allegations.
