Page Six reported that legions of Britney Spears fans are finally going to get their wish, and that the pregnant pop tart is ready to dump her hubby of two years, the underemployed and overspending Kevin Federline? Spears was said to be distraught that Federline didn't spend Mother's Day with her, opting instead to hang out with his ex, Shar Jackson, who has two children by him.
A furious Spears then fled California for New York with her infant son, Sean Preston, where she had a disastrous time.
During her trying week, Spears was angry that she was alone and Federline was not with her.
"Kevin's focus has been on everything but Britney. Instead, he has been putting all of his energy into his music career - which isn't going to go anywhere," our source said.
"Brit is definitely unhappy in this relationship and feels stuck."
In the beginning of the week, Spears also seemed to threaten Federline by printing a thinly veiled poem on her Web site about the "sins of the father." |

TMZ reported that the famous Madame Tussauds House of Wax in New York is on a mission... a mission to "Bring Back Britney!" The museum hopes the grassroots movement, fueled on the internet, will restore Mrs. Federline to what they believe is her pop star glory.
Hoping to gain support for their "cause," Madame Tussauds unveiled its "Britney Spears 2000" wax figure, described as "sexy and scantily clad with heaving breasts." Yes folks. The breast feature animatronic engineering that move them up and down.
As for the campaign, fans can go to www.BringBackBritney.com and sign an online petition to help "Save Britney... from herself, from her husband and from her relentless fertility." Fans can also print out "Bring Back Britney" picket signs and submit their favorite vintage Britney moments. The waxy Britney is wearing a gold two-piece outfit and is hanging upside down, attached to a pole. Tussauds describes the likeness is described as "pre-baby and pre-Federline." |

Hollywood.com reported that new reports Britney Spears has split from husband Kevin Federline have not been denied by the singer's publicist. British newspaper the Daily Mirror claims the couple's relationship has grown so strained, Spears has banished Federline to live in the basement of their California mansion.
She reportedly returned from New York this week to find the aspiring rapper drinking and smoking cannabis in the house.
Sources tell the newspaper Spears had hoped to save the marriage for the sake of their son Sean Preston and their unborn second child--due in October--but has lost patience.
A friend says, "She wanted to wait but their relationship has become so hostile she just doesn't see how she can make it work."
When quizzed, a spokesman for the star refused to deny the claims. |

MSN reported that Britney might be putting her marital woes into verse.
The pop princess, whose marriage to Kevin Federline is reportedly on the rocks, wrote an angst-filled poem that spoke of "manipulation" and "sins of the father" — and several sources who read the words on her Web site believe they were directed at her rapper-wannabe hubby.
"No more chains/ That you gave me/ Enough of pain/ Manipulation is the key," read the poem in part. "They screw it in/ Because you're naďve/You come to me now/ Why do you bother?/ Remember the Bible/ The sins of the father/ What you do/ You pass down/ No wonder why/ I lost my crown/ You don't see me now/ You ask yourself why my crown is back/ And it's way too high/ For you to be in my presence/ Especially my son/ You should bow down/ I’ve only just begun."
Spears' spokeswoman told MSN's The Scoop that she knows nothing of the posting and therefore cannot comment. |

Moms Defending Britney |

CNN reported that the latest headlines about Britney, America's most maligned mother are evoking a new sentiment from fellow moms.
Almost tripped and dropped a baby? PLEASE, they're saying. What mom hasn't? Give the girl a break!
When little Sean Preston entered the world last September, the blessed event only intensified Spears' fame, as celebrity births do nowadays. But unlike, say, Angelina Jolie or Gwyneth Paltrow, Spears had a way of appearing maternally challenged. First it was the sight of baby on Mom's lap in the driver's seat. (OK, that was bad.) Then, the accidental tumble as he was lifted off a high chair. Next, the car seat facing the wrong way in the convertible.
Not good, the celebrity mommy patrol said. We'd never do that.
Until ... the almost-baby-dropping incident.
Suddenly -- and there's nothing scientific about any of this, mind you -- but suddenly, it seems fellow moms are doing something a bit surprising: defending Britney.
"The woman just can't get a break!" says Lenna Janick, a mother of two in Ijamsville, Maryland. "I mean, I'm not gonna say that I love her. I don't know if she's a good mother or not. But she's human."
And as all moms know, "baby bobbles" happen all the time. Luckily, says Janick, news outlets weren't watching when she walked into a door years ago holding baby son Timmy, whose head hit the door jamb. Her other son, Alex, once fell off the bed as a baby. (Both are fine.)
The media also mysteriously missed the moment when Stacey Thaler, an actuary in New York, was sitting on the edge of the tub holding her 2-year-old son and fell in, with the toddler.
"If someone was watching me 24/7, I'm sure they would find any number of things I've done that would be questionable," Thaler says. "Almost dropped my kids? Definitely. Raising kids is hard -- no one can really stand in judgment unless they're much closer to the situation."
Thousands of mothers apparently agree. This weekend, the Web site parenting.com asked readers whether the media "has gone too far in its portrayal of Britney Spears as a bad mom." In a figure that surprised the editors, almost 10,000 people answered. The results: 75 percent said yes, 25 percent no.
"I think this last incident is the tipping point," says Janet Chan, editor in chief of Parenting magazine. "I'm not sure this means Britney Spears will be in every mom's Hall of Fame. But this one caused them to say, 'Hey, now we're picking on her.' "
The celebrity magazine US Weekly sensed a similar reaction. The photo of Spears nearly tripping (for the record, her very long jeans appeared to get caught in her espadrilles) elicited an unusually strong response on the magazine's blog, says editor Janice Min. Out of 700 responses, 60 percent were pro-Britney, she says. |

Britney Spears celebrated the astounding success of her three fragrances, Curious, Fantasy and In Control, with Elizabeth Arden, the company that manufactures and markets the scents, at a celebration last week at the Hudson Hotel. Her first fragrance Curious, became the #1 launch worldwide in 2005, and the only new launch to make the top 20 list globally. In the US, Curious achieved a top 5 fragrance ranking among fragrances launched in the past decade. Over 10 million bottles of the three scents have been sold -- an astonishing number considering that her first fragrance, Curious, was just launched in 2004.
A giant cake in shape of her fragrance bottle for Fantasy commemorated the occasion, and young dancers from Broadway Dance Center, where Britney had studied in New York before becoming a top-selling recording artist, helped her celebrate. Dancers competed in a dance-off judged by Britney. Twelve-year-old Marina Micalizzi was the winner. Britney Spears fragrances are sold in over 80 countries around the world. |

ETonline reported that it has learned that Britney was so distraught by the persistent shutterbugs that she has left New York!
Did the paparazzi endanger BRITNEY SPEARS' baby? Dramatic new pictures have emerged of the latest run-in with overzealous photographers that left the pregnant pop star in tears.
It was on Thursday that Britney was walking out of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Manhattan holding her 8-month-old son SEAN PRESTON. In her attempt to navigate through the intrusive crowd and get to her car -- all the while shielding her baby from the flashing bulbs -- Britney accidentally lost her balance, almost losing her grip on the infant.
Britney's bodyguard helped her recover from her stumble and afterwards she went to FAO Schwarz Cafe to calm down, visibly shaken by the incident.
For more on the story, watch tonight's ET. |

TMZ reported that Britney stumbled this afternoon as she was leaving a New York City hotel and almost dropped little Sean Preston.
They're told Britney was leaving the Ritz Carlton, holding a drink in her right hand and Sean in her left as she maneuvered through a crowd of onlookers. Britney moves through the crowd and then she suddenly trips, the baby's head goes backward and his hat flies off his head. Britney regained her balance and the baby seemed ok.
After the incident, Spears said, "This is why I need a gun."
TMZ will post exclusive video of the incident Friday night at 7:00PM ET. For now you can view the pictures of the incident at TMZ.
UPDATE: Fans on BritneySpearsForum.com posted a picture of Britney crying after yesterday's incident, take a look here. Poor Britney, she is really being targetted unfairly by the media about her parenting skills. We only see a glimpse of what is really happening, but we don't see how wonderful Britney probably treats Sean 99% of the time. |

National Ledger reported that Britney has given Kevin an ultimatum of sorts - the former pop star has told the wannabe music star that he needs to clean up or get out according to a report from Us Weekly.
The report does appear to note that the ultimatum is not set in stone - (wait isn't that the definition of the word) - as it apparently shifts and gets revised - but the general idea is that Britney wants some respect.
Us Weekly gives this story tease on its blog: Britney Spears, 24, may be resigned to staying with Kevin Federline after the shock of her unplanned pregnancy – making their son, Sean, 8 months, a big brother this October – but she's done with being a pushover for his free-wheeling ways. "Britney gave Kevin an ultimatum, and they are continuously revising it. She wants him to respect her and the baby, and if he doesn't then she has let him know he is out," says one source close to the couple.
"She won't put up with him disrespecting her and has had to lay down certain rules that he must abide by to stay in the relationship." |

Britney Denies Baby Car Seat Error |

BBC reported that Britney Spears did not break state law by allegedly driving with her baby in a forward-facing car seat, her record company says.
Sony BMG was responding to reports of a photograph of Spears driving in Malibu, California, with Sean Preston, one, in the back facing forward not back.
Spears, who is now pregnant with her second child, was in "total compliance" with Californian law, Sony BMG said.
In February, she was photographed driving with her son on her lap.
The 24-year-old later said she was frightened by paparazzi chasing her but admitted she had made a mistake on that occasion.
In a statement, Sony BMG said state law required that "all children under the age of six or weighing less than 60lbs be in safety seats in the back seat of the car".
It added rear-facing car seats were compulsory neither in California nor many other parts of the US.
"In fact, there are only 10 [states] that require a child to be in a rear-facing car seat, and in two of those states it is not required if the infant is more than 20 lbs. Britney's son Sean weighs over 20 lbs." |

PR Inside reported that Britney is following her husband Kevin's lead and learning to rap for her new "edgy" album. The hitmaker has enlisted Destiny's Child producer Jonathan 'JR' Rotem to help cultivate her new sound.
Britney has vowed to balance her growing family with her pop career. Rotem tells MTV, "She's been a mother and she'll still be doing that, but she's very much into her music.
"She literally can't go anywhere without her privacy being invaded. Everybody is trying to get information. So the record we wrote, it addresses the 'who do you trust' kind of thing.
"Not rap rap, but talk rap. It's definitely Britney, but the next level. With songs like Toxic she was very innovative, and we're trying to top it. Push it to the next thing.
"The album wouldn't come out in a while anyhow, since it's at the very beginning. When it comes time to promote the album, she'll be in a different headspace where that's going to be the main thing. But right now, she's happy juggling music and motherhood." |

Kevin Is Amazing Dad According To Shar Jackson |

National Ledger reported Kevin Federline is being defended as a good dad - by none other than his ex and mother of two of his children Shar Jackson.
In a report in People Magazine she says: "He's an amazing dad," Jackson tells People. "Like when Kori was first born, her whole first year and a half, he was there. I mean, he wouldn't leave her side. He's a good guy, and when he's not with (his kids), it hurts his heart that he misses them so much."
So, what's it like to grow up with Federline as a father? "He's a goofy guy," Jackson says.
Pretty good endorsement considering Kevin left Shar while she was pregnant with their second child. And it's a far cry from a report in Life & Style Weekly that cited an insider that dished, "Kevin's falling out of love with Britney fast, and a baby won't solve anything," citing an insider. |

The Bosh reported that Britney has apparently laughed at a statue of herself giving birth, and said she wouldn't have it in her home.
The 'Toxic' star found a sculpture created by Daniel Edwards depicting herself naked and giving birth, entitled "Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston", to be not to her taste reports DigitalSpy UK.
The life-sized sculpture of Britney Spears – naked, crouching as she is giving birth on a bearskin rug was on display at Brooklyn's Capla Kesting Fine Art gallery.
At the time Daniel Edwards, who said he never spoke to the 24-year-old pop star or met her, and fashioned her face and figure from photographs said, "I admire her. This is an idealized figure."
The sculpture appeared next to a display case filled with anti-abortion materials.
She said: "I think it's the most hysterical thing I've ever seen in my life. My assistant and I were totally dumbfounded when we saw it. We couldn't believe somebody actually did this."
When jokingly asked if she would buy it to put it in her home she said: "No thanks. They can display it somewhere, but not in my beautiful home." |

Hollywood.com reported that Britney beat the tabloids at their own game on Tuesday, dropping in on a taping of television's Late Show with David Letterman to announce that she was pregnant with her second child. "Don't worry Dave, it's not yours," the 24-year-old singer told the late-night talk show's host as she walked onto the stage in a black dress that revealed a tell-tale tummy bulge. Her entrance was accompanied by the band playing "My Prerogative," the title song on her greatest-hits album.
"Oh. Well, I think that's good news for both of us," Letterman joked back. The comedian went on to ask Spears point blank: "So, we've established now that you are in fact pregnant, is that right?"
"Yes, sir," she answered to wild applause from the studio audience. Letterman then took Spears' hand and kissed it.
A spokesman for the CBS show, which is taped in New York, said Spears' brief visit was a surprise to the studio audience that had been arranged earlier in the day. Guests for network talk shows are usually booked weeks in advance.
Celebrity magazines and tabloids have speculated for weeks that Spears was expecting another child, but the Louisiana-born performer seized a moment of her own to announce her pregnancy on national television. Her appearance was to air later on Tuesday. |

Entertainmentwise.com reported that Britney Spears’ acting coach has labelled the star “an untalented, self-focused wannabe”.
The coach – a top Los Angeles-based teacher who asked to remain anonymous – is one of four recently used by Britney, but was sacked after only two unsatisfactory sessions at the pop star’s Malibu home.
The drama teacher has been left with a low opinion of not only Spears’ acting abilities – which were slammed in 2002’s teen-flick flop Crossroads – but also of Britney herself.
The coach tells the Sunday Mirror, “Britney's no better or worse than any newcomer to acting. The big difference is, she's into shortcuts. She kept telling me to skip elements of the course she believed weren't necessary.
"It was clear she really hadn't understood the concept of any of them. She came across as a spoilt child in the body of a young woman, who's not used to being told no."
"I can imagine her ruining a televised drama by suddenly staring straight into camera and either winking, shaking her boobs or blowing a bubble of gum. But not all at the same time - that would be asking far too much of her." |

All Headline News reported that Britney Spears is holding the media and record industry hostage amid speculations with her mysterious press conference scheduled for Thursday, May 4. Even her closest aides have no idea what she's going to announce, although the safe bet is she’s going to announce her second pregnancy with husband Kevin Federline.
The Bayou Pop Princess has invited selected media representatives, journalists and record industry executives to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Spears is keeping quiet concerning the subject matter of the press conference, however it is widely anticipated she will officially announce her second bun in the oven.
Sony executive Karen Phillips says, "Britney hasn't held a press conference in so long that we know it's something big - pregnancy, a split, we're not sure."
Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 after a whirlwind romance and have eight-month-old son Sean Preston together. The couple has also been dodging nonstop rumors of their impending split.
Jive Records and Spears' management team are reportedly planning to release her fifth album in November (06), and a world tour is tentatively scheduled for 2007.
Suspiciously, Spears has also cancelled performances at numerous award shows this year without explanation. |

National Ledger reported that Britney may be considering a move back to her home state as she has had it with Hollywood reports Star Magazine.
Now the real question - will hubby Kevin Federline come along?
Star dishes: Sick of living in the fishbowl that is L.A., sources say, pregnant pop tart Britney Spears is thinking of moving back to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. "Los Angeles has worn her down," a source says.
"She says every mistake is magnified a thousand times, and she's sick of being judged all the time."
Another reason, says the source: those California girls!
"It's like Kevin's head is on a swivel when a pretty girl walks by." And what's husband Kevin Federline's reaction to a move? "He told her, 'Send me a postcard!'" a source says of the California-raised former backup dancer.
Are there no real babes in Louisiana?
Realistically - this might actually be a good idea. With one baby and another reportedly one the way - she may be better off in the south. |

Yahoo! Music reported that Britney Spears' husband, Kevin Federline, recently told Extra that she completely supports him and his budding music career. He said, "My wife loves what I do. She is so for everything that I'm doing right now. That's the biggest thing for me, too, because if she wasn't supportive of it, I'd probably give it up." He also said that Spears keeps him calm, adding, "When I get wild up over stuff, she's like, 'Sit back, think about it, make sure it's the right decision that you're going to make.'"
Federline will release his debut album, Playing With Fire, in August. |
