Britney's Hospital Room Demands

Pregnant Britney Spears has reportedly demanded her hospital room is filled with white and yellow roses when she gives birth. Sources claim the mum-to-be, whose baby is due in October, has also insisted background checks are carried out on all members of staff who will be caring for her at the Arizona hospital. A source revealed to America's Star magazine: "Britney wants white and yellow roses in the room when she gets there and wants all the nurses serving her to have background checks." According to the insider, Britney's mother, Lynne, will also personally vet the nurses. Meanwhile, Britney, who is married to Kevin Federline, is reportedly demanding the hospital rooms on either side are left vacant so she can have extra privacy when she's in labour. Last week, it was claimed Britney plans to give birth listening to Disney tunes. The 23-year-old 'Toxic' singer - who starred on the Disney Channel's 'Mickey Mouse Club' show as a child - is said to have chosen her favourite songs from 'The Princess Collection' to help her cope with labour.

Scottsdale Healthcare To Deliver Britney's Baby

"It's news to us," was the official response Wednesday from Scottsdale Healthcare to reports that pregnant pop diva Britney Spears had chosen to give birth at a Scottsdale hospital. The health care provider operates the only two maternity units in Scottsdale, one at Osborn Road and Drinkwater Boulevard, and one at Shea Boulevard and 90th Street. Both have luxurious birthing suites with private rooms and spa services. Spokesman Keith Jones said media phone calls have been mounting for two days since entertainment Web sites started carrying the unconfirmed story. "Initially, a fellow called saying he was phoning Miami hospitals, too," Jones said. Spears' purported plans for Scottsdale come amidst tabloid fodder that Spears is having twins, and that she's in talks with Vanity Fair to pose pregnant and nude, as Demi Moore did in 1991. "Britney Spears could go anywhere in the world to have her baby. Why would she choose to come to Scottsdale in the heat?" asked Felicia Thomas, public relations specialist for Scottsdale Healthcare, who also fielded an inquiry last week from a tabloid. There would be a place for Kevin Federline to stay bedside along with his pop star bride. Rooms are equipped with CD and DVD players. And Spears could enjoy the facility's optional bedside services, including manicures and pedicures.

RUMOR: The gossip web site The Bosh reported that sources close to Britney Spears , 23, say the pop princess' hefty weight gain in rapid time could mean she's expecting two little Federlines this fall reports Star Magazine "Britney is only supposed to be five months along," says a source, "but she already looks like she's gained nearly all the weight she is supposed to have throughout her pregnancy." "Lately, they've been reluctant to talk about whether Brit might be expecting a boy or a girl," says the source. "Instead, they cryptically give the answer that she's expecting a boy one week, and a girl the next." Another clue is that Britney's been seen shopping for both girls and boys clothes. "Kevin [who's already got two kids with Shar Jackson] would probably freak over double duty," another source laughs, "but Britney would be over the moon!"

Britney To Recreate Classic 1991 Vanity Fair Cover

Pop star Britney Spears is reportedly in talks to pose nude and pregnant for the cover of Vanity Fair. Citing an unidentified source, Life & Style Weekly reported in its current issue that Spears, 23, aspires to recreate Demi Moore's famous 1991 Vanity Fair cover shot. "The negotiations are in motion," said the source. "Britney desperately wants to do it and knows she has to stay in good shape." Life & Style Weekly said Vanity Fair editors hope to shoot Spears in her seventh month so the issue can hit newsstands before she gives birth this fall. "Britney loves being pregnant," said the source, "and she loves her new body."

In an Pittsburgh Post Gazette article about OK! USA (a british tabloid magazine) launching here in the United States, there was an interesting section about Britney's wedding photos. People, US Weekly, InTouch and Star all say they don't pay stars directly for access. But some have found loopholes: People magazine, for example, recently struck a financial deal for exclusive photos of Britney Spears's wedding. Britney's Pregnancy Music Confirmed

Kevin Federline has declared his love for Britney Spears, at the end of the TV reality show "Kevin and Britney: Chaotic". Britney is expecting a child with Kevin. "I wanted to put this together just to kind of show you, baby, how much I care. I love you more than life and I'd do anything for you". He added: "She's my angel, everything I've ever wanted in life, in a person, in a human being. Her soul is caring. She's just a giving person You don't see everybody like that. The most wonderful things have happened to me with her and I can't see myself with anybody else I love her more than anything". Britney Spears is due to give birth to her first child later this year and choose "The Princess Collection" music to listen during the labor.

Even though they're spending a fortune to refurbish their Malibu mansion, Britney Spears, 23, and Kevin Federline, 27, probably will not be living there for long. Sources close to the couple say Spears and Federline do not want to raise their baby in Los Angeles and are house-hunting elsewhere. The couple have recently checked out properties in Scottsdale, Arizona; Destin, Florida; and near Spears' family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. A rep for the couple had no comment. Toronta Fashion Monitor reported that Britney Spears talks openly about her most-watched pregnancy, revealing she has been munching heavily on pickles and had occasional temper tantrums. Britney has been battling "horrible" morning sickness and temperamental mood swings since announcing her pregnancy in April. "I've lost my temper like twice. I just get really mad," she told People. Federline compared Spears in a tantrum to hapless hunter Elmer Fudd, "where his face just gets red and steam comes out of his ears." However, some fear that Britney Spears may experience pregnancy complication due to her past excessive smoking. Soon after announcing her pregnancy Britney Spears, 23, was admitted to a hospital in Florida after experiencing bleeding problems. These problems might have been related to a gynecological condition called placenta previa, which is quite common and is related to smoking, past or present. Britney Spears has reportedly quit smoking when became pregnant, but her husband, Kevin Federline, still smokes a lot, creating unhealthy environment for the mom-to-be and their unborn child. Britney is expecting to give birth this fall.

Monsters and Critics reported that Britney Spears is still defending herself against rumors that she had breast implants several years ago. 60-year-old actress Sally Kirkland claims she knows the doctor who performed the surgery on Spears and warns her not to breast feed. Kirkland says, “I happen to know Britney's breast implant doctor, and I just hope she does not breast feed, because if she does, she could give her baby so many future problems.” Kirkland had undergone breast implant surgery and suffered terrible side effects afterward. “Now I am the poster girl for women with diseases from breast implants.” Britney's publicist says the claims are false. "Britney does not have breast implants so you don't need to worry."

Britney Spears has declared that her new song Someday (I Will Understand) as a "prophecy." The singer says that she wrote the tune, which refers to her imminent motherhood, two weeks before she realised that she was pregnant. She says, "I wrote this song at my piano, at my house. I wrote it two weeks before I found out that I was pregnant, so it was really kind of weird, because the song's about having a baby... and it's something that I'd been dreaming about for a while. It's kind of like a prophecy. "Everyone in general should voice their wishes more, because I think the more you throw it out to the universe, if you're in the right space and place in your life, it's weird how the universe gives it back to you."

The pop princess has asked pal Madonna to get hubby Guy Ritchie to cast Kevin in his next film. Apparently pushy Britney has been bombarding them with pics of Kevin along with character suggestions. Chaotic Finale Draws In Low Numbers

Pregnant singer Britney Spears' just-wrapped reality TV show, "Kevin & Britney: Chaotic," lost its appeal for some viewers and outraged others. Spears gave viewers a sneak peek at the video for her new tune "Someday (I will understand)" and her surprise wedding to Kevin Federline in Tuesday's finale. However, just 2.1 million U.S. viewers tuned in Tuesday compared to 3.7 million for the first episode May 17, Access Hollywood reported. The London Daily Mail said the TV show was intended to provide a springboard for Federline, an unemployed dancer, to become a star in his own right. However, the newspaper said parents were angered by scenes that showed Federline naked in the shower and members of Spears' entourage discussing their favorite sexual positions. Spears, opting for comfort rather than fashion, wore baggy pants and a stretch top while shopping in Hollywood in recent days, the Daily Mail reported. The 23-year-old is due to have her first child in September.

Once again, they put up a great recap of the final episode of Chaotic: You'd have to be living under a rock to not know that Britney Spears is married and expecting her first child, but Tuesday's finale of UPN'sBritney & Kevin: Chaotic shed light on how it all occurred. Veil of Secrecy, the finale installment in the six-part series, treated viewers to live footage of Spears' surprise wedding, a first look at her latest video Someday and a personalized "love letter" from Federline. Here are several things we learned about Spears and Federline's wedding and new life together: - They're proud they faked their nuptials. "We foiled every single one of them," Federline says grinning. Spears giggles. -The wedding had shock value. "Everyone thought they were being Punk'd," Federline proudly says, refering to Ashton Kutcher's MTV series. - Federline isn't always a cool cat. United Press International reported that the celebrity whose name is used most by hackers creating computer e-mail viruses has shifted from Microsoft chief Bill Gates to pop singer Britney Spears. Researchers at the Glendale, Calif.-based security software-maker Panda Software combed through the seven years of virus-laden messages, and created a top-10 list of names used to dupe people into opening malicious code, or "malware." In descending order of popularity, they listed Spears, Gates, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Osama bin Laden, Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton, Anna Kournikova, Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson, IGD New Service said Tuesday.

Personally, this song is amazing. From what I am hearing from fans, it is very emotional. As with me, along with the other fans who has stuck by Britney's side since '98, as I watched the video and listened to the lyrics, I could not help but shed a tear. New Video To Debut On Reality TV

The video for Britney Spears' new single, "Someday (I Will Understand) will debut on the final episode of her and husband Kevin Federline's UPN reality show. The finale of the six-episode series "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic" airs Tuesday, June 14, at 8 p.m. EST/PST. The series features pre-pregnancy home videos of the couple's dating, engagement and wedding. The 23-year-old Spears is due to have her first child in the fall. Spears released a compilation, "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative," in November.

This is a day late, but I forgot to post USATODAY.com's great weekly recap: This week on Chaotic, Britney Spears' UPN reality series, viewers were exposed to several more up-close kisses, a couple border patrol guards and a surprising marriage proposal. Once again, here are seven new things we learned about the pop star's glamorous life: 1. She likes Spanish archways. "This is how I want my house to be when I get a house," Spears says as she gestures toward the ceiling of her rented home in Madrid. (By now, her architectural dream may have come true.) 2. She does a mean Paula Abdul impersonation. In one brief, inspired moment, Spears delivers her rendition of the American Idol judge's hit, Straight Up. Unfortunately, the singer barely gets through the chorus before she collapses in giggles. 3. Opera? Coming right up. "That was kind of cool," Spears and Federline say after the singer leans out her hotel room window and belts out a couple operatic notes to folks on the street. 4. Britney's bus is clean. Federline says Spears "freaked out" a bit after officers at the French-Spanish border stop and begin to search their bus, but the trouble doesn't last long. "That's got to be a boring job," Brit says of the officials, adding, "At least I get to dress in tight outfits." 5. You don't need clothes to operate a video camera. In one scene, Federline points out that Spears (behind the camera) not only isn't wearing any clothes, but several men happen to be sleeping inches away from her on the tour bus. "They don't know I'm naked though, baby," she tells him. 6. Brit is "fascinated with fountains." Upon seeing a fascinating fountain, she tells her driver to stop the car, gathers a handful of coins and runs toward the water. "I won't say what the wish was, but it came true," she says. 7. Kevin didn't propose. Nope, last night it was revealed that Spears popped the question — and she did it during a long flight to New York. "It came out of left field and kind of slapped me in the face," Federline says. Nevertheless, he said yes. Coming next week: The couple gives viewers an inside peek at their surprise wedding.

Britney In Fear of Being Kidnapped?

Britney Spears became so worried when she was stopped by officials at the French-Spanish border while on tour last year (04), she started to fear she was going to be kidnapped. While the TOXIC singer was on the European leg of her Onyx Hotel Tour, she and husband Kevin Federline woke up in the middle of the night to find officers going through their belongings on the tour bus. Federline reveals on the new reality show Britney + Kevin: Chaotic, "(We) woke up at two o'clock in the morning to the border patrol going through all of our luggage, with the dogs and all kinds of stuff. (Britney) started freaking out. "I'm sitting there (thinking), 'Okay they can't really do anything, I don't think, so I wasn't really scared too much. But I thought it was funny how she was." As the search pressed on, Spears used her own camcorder to jokingly document that if anybody finds the tape, she wants to be remembered as a "good person". But her focus went from kidnapping to fashion, when she observed the officers' uniforms. She says, "That's got to be a boring job. At least I get to dress up in tight outfits and change 'em up a little bit. They gotta wear the same damn thing every day." The couple eventually crossed the border without having officials board their bus.

Jack White Says Britney Deserves Media Intrusion

Newlywed rocker Jack White has slammed Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson for complaining about the media intrusion into their lives, claiming the blonde beauties have "asked for it completely". While the White Stripes frontman has shied away from publicity and remains notoriously private about his lovelife, Spears and Simpson have regularly divulged personal information to the press, as well as expose their married lives in reality shows Britney and Kevin: Chaotic and Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. Spears recently turned on the tabloids, after initially selling her engagement and wedding photos to gossip magazines, writing a scathing letter to "false tabloids" on her official website, who publish "lies" about her and husband Kevin Federline. Simpson and husband Nick Lachey have repeatedly denied tabloid rumours their marriage is trouble, after reports the pop beauty was having an affair with Johnny Knoxville. After wedding supermodel Karen Elsonlast week (01JUN05), White has pleaded for privacy, insisting he has never courted media attention. He says, "Anytime I've been in the tabloids it wasn't about me. I despise celebrity, I think it's ridiculous - it's so disgusting to me. Britney Expecting A Girl, Or Shops For Kori?

Looks like Britney Spears is expecting a girl, reports MSNBC.com. The pregnant pop star was spotted at Petit Tresor, one of Hollywood's most chic baby stores, loading up on designer infant clothes -- all for girls. "I don't think it was a present for someone else," says a witness. "She was buying a lot." Spears was shopping solo, buying French, Italian and British designer baby clothes, including items by Liberty and Petit Bateau, as well as some lesser-known lines, in sizes newborn to 1-year-old. She was also stocking up on accessories, such as blankets and bibs. A rep at the store confirmed the story to MSNBC.com's The Scoop, but says that Spears didn't volunteer whether the shopping spree was for her baby or someone else's -- and no one asked. "She was very private, and we respect that," says the rep. "And she was also very pleasant."

In this week's episode of "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic," not only will we see Britney Spears bouncing around and acting goofy in some strange house and Kevin Federline smoking more cigarettes, but we'll also get a window into K-Fed's mind. In one of the show's segments, Federline reveals to the world that he refused to tell his wife he loved her until he was sure the feeling was mutual. "I wasn't going to tell her I loved her until I knew for sure that she really felt that way about me," he says. "So, I kept my mouf shut. Maybe not my emotions, but my mouf. Upon seeing a fascinating fountain, she tells her driver to stop the car, gathers a handful of coins and runs toward the water. "I won't say what the wish was, but it came true," she says. 7. Kevin didn't propose. Nope, last night it was revealed that Spears popped the question — and she did it during a long flight to New York. Kevin Federline aka Mr Britney Spears has a embarrasing moment near his mountain retreat in the affluent city of Malibu yesterday. Kevin who had dropped his new Ferrari 360 Modena off to get a complete detail at a prestige car wash turned up to retrieve it, paid the $300 U.S. charge and when he tried to start it realized that the staff had left the headlights on and that it had a flat battery. After checking the front of the car for the problem Kevin realised that the engine and battery was in fact in the back of the car and with the help of some bystanders and his bodyguard they jump started it and a sheepish Kevin drove his precious car back to his gated compound. Britney's Back As Arts Camp Backer

The Patriot Ledger reported that after reconsidering, pop star Britney Spears has agreed to continue funding a summer performing arts camp for inner-city children. With more than $200,000 from the Britney Spears Foundation, Donna Milani Luther of Norwell started the camp five years ago for girls and boys ages 11 to 15. One-hundred-thirty children from low-income families in Boston, New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., attend the Cape Cod camp free each year. In January, Luther learned that the singer's foundation would no longer fund the program, known has the Britney Spears Camp for the Performing Arts. Although Spears asked Luther to start the camp, the foundation announced that it was redirecting Spears' charitable giving to another cause: programs for children with cancer. But Spears changed her mind. The Britney Spears Foundation will still provide most of the camp's funding, although the amount has been cut by more than half. This summer's budget will be $75,000. Luther is seeking other funding sources for next year and says she will try and return the camp to its original size or make it even larger. The camp, which has been renamed Camp Summer Stars, used to serve 130 children and run for 10 days. This year, it will serve 60 and run for five days, Aug. 24-29. ‘‘I thought: ‘I can't leave the kids at my camp in a lurch,''' Luther said from the Inly School, formerly the Montessori Community School, in Scituate, where she is the director. ‘‘Most of the kids are from the inner city, from families with incomes of less than $10,000, and many tell us this is the only thing they look forward to all year.'' Luther reorganized the camp this past winter as a nonprofit organization under the new name and began lining up performers, such as the rap group Run-DMC. ‘‘When Britney heard that I was going ahead anyway, she arranged for us to talk and agreed to give us some funding, though it is smaller than in the past,'' Luther said. ‘‘I'm very excited. We are going to do a benefit performance Aug. 28, and I'm working on lining up other performers.'' The camp also will have a new location: Camp Farley in Sandwich. Britney Breaks Into Tears After Seeing Her Baby

Britney Spears broke down in tears after seeing an image of her baby for the first time. The Toxic superstar - who is expecting to give birth in the Autumn (05) - has been battling "horrible" morning sickness and temperamental mood swings since announcing her pregnancy in April (05). But she was overcome with emotion after seeing the baby's first ultra-sound scan. The 23-year-old says, "You can't really say anything. I was emotional. I think it's the best feeling in the world. I think it brings out a pure side of you." Spears and husband Kevin Federline are currently starring in their own six-episode US reality TV series Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.

Britney Loves Life as a Pregnant Woman

Britney Spears is loving life as a pregnant woman - the cravings, watching sonograms and especially the sex. "I think it's better than it was before," Spears tells People magazine in the issue on newsstands Friday. "I think it's best. Sex is crazy good." The 23-year-old pop star, who's due this fall, says that she's been battling "horrible" morning sickness and has been dealing with the hormone swings that have caused her to lose her temper, "like twice." But otherwise, Spears says she's in "nesting mode" and finds being pregnant "empowering." "I think it brings out a pure side of you," she says. After first seeing a sonogram of her baby, Spears was speechless. "You can't really say anything. I was emotional. I think it's the best feeling in the world." Spears says that she hasn't yet tried to find out whether it's a boy or a girl - but doesn't expect it to be her last, regardless. She ultimately wants three children and doesn't plan to return to her day job soon. "I'm sure there's going to come a time when I get back to work again, but it'll be a totally different way of life than it was before," she says. Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, are also currently starring in their reality show on UPN, Britney and Kevin: Chaotic. The six-episode series features pre-pregnancy home videos of the couple's dating, engagement and wedding. "It's so different for me, doing something like this," said Spears of the show. "My friends think it's cool."

Britney's 'Chaotic' Life: What You Missed Last Night

USA Today has a good recap of yesterday's episode of Chaotic, just incase you missed it. This week on Chaotic, Britney Spears' UPN reality show, we were treated to several musical performances, a night-vision love confession and a handful of Brit's cigarette butts. "I think that you're scared to love me," Kevin Federline tells Spears in the latest episode. "And that makes me scared to love you." Seven more things we now know about the pop star's private life: •Britney loves Kevin — and chips! The camera catches the first time Spears tells Kevin Federline she loves him; unfortunately it also catches Federline's painful silence that follows. Hoping to downplay the one-sided moment, Spears shrugs it off and tells her beau, "I need to get some chips." •Britney could beat you up. Probably. "I could kick your a—," she tells Federline. Later, during a workout, she playfully tells her sparring partner, "I wanna punch your face. I have a lot of anger inside." •Brad Pitt? Still sexy. After conducting an informal survey to find out if men would let their girlfriends sleep with Brad Pitt if they were allowed to sleep with Halle Berry, Spears turns to Federline. "Have you seen Brad Pitt in Fight Club?" she asks. Then she answers her own question. Survey says: "If it really boiled down to it, I wouldn't do it." •Caffeine is a must. "Unless you get her coffee, she will bite your head off in the morning," Spears' security guard reveals. This week's beverage of choice: cappuccino. •Kev doesn't dig the cigs. "Bad habits," Federline hisses twice, while filming Britney puffing on cigarettes. (The irony: He smokes, too.) •Their meeting was not a "setup."
